What is Vayne?

Rivuo··3 votes·419 views

Shes labeled as a marksman and assassin second.

  1. If shes a marksman why is she so good at fighting assassins ( Which is supposed to be the strength against adcs )

  2. If shes an assassin why is she so good at killing more than 1 target. Usually assassins are supposed to dump their combo for 1 person ( assassinate ) that 1 person.

So it doesnt make sense im just trying to understand... It seems like Riot doesnt know where to even put the bitch.

Because she's a ranged assassin, and everyone knows range > melee. Vayne has invisibility, a knockback, and her tumble if they get too close.

Because she's an adc.

She has the strengths of both the classes then.

Almost none of the assassins are single target anymore, most of their main damage is aoe now.

Yeah, that's a problem. But without implementing a new-not-even-that-creative mechanic it's the only way for the to hit the carries in teamfights.

Talon's R and W are AoE. So is his rav proc.

Zed's E and Q are AoE.

Akali is a good example of an assassin doing what she's supposed to do.

Leblanc has a potentially AoE Q and an AoE W.

Ahri has an AoE Q and multitarget W.

Katarina has AoE daggers, multitarget daggers, and AoE daggerspin

Rengar's Q is AoE, and Rav proc. That's more than you think, since he can Q 3 times in about 2 seconds with 45% cdr or even 40%.

Diana's Q, W, and passive are AoE.

Graves's Q and ult are AoE.

J4's Q, Rav, and R are AoE.

Kha's E, W and Rav are AoE, he's more of a duelist than an assassin tho. To be honest, I think most assassins are more duelists now, with their low cd high damage low-medium range nukes

Panth's E is AoE, and so is his Rav.

Quinn's Q and ult are AoE.

Riven's abilities are AoE, as well as Rav.

Shaco is one of the few without AoE.

Wukong's ult, E, and Rav are AoE.

Lee Sin's E and Rav are AoE, and his ult is also kinda AoE. It's not single target, at least.

And almost every single one of those is fucking irrelevant because the vast majority of those will never ever hit more than one target. And most of those aren't even assassins.

Which ones?

And all of them can be built and act as assassins. I left a few out there (e.g., Twitch), too.

Err... the damage from the AOE arent enough to be impactful.

Zed's E and Q are AoE.

A skill is not AOE if it loses 90% of its damage if it hits more than 1 person

Akali is a good example of an assassin doing what she's supposed to do.

Yep.

Leblanc has a potentially AoE Q and an AoE W.

Potentially..? Listen we're talking about AOE we arent talking about perfect conditions in which 2 people are standing on eachother especially 2 high priority targets.

Ahri has an AoE Q and multitarget W.

Thats not AOE.

Katarina has AoE daggers, multitarget daggers, and AoE daggerspin

?????????? Thats.. not aoe

Diana's Q, W, and passive are AoE.

We dont consider a 1 inch radius ''AOE''

Graves's Q and ult are AoE.

Graves isnt an assassin. We're talking about assassins with AOE

J4's Q, Rav, and R are AoE.

Jarvan is not an assassin.

Kha's E, W and Rav are AoE, he's more of a duelist than an assassin tho. To be honest, I think most assassins are more duelists now, with their low cd high damage low-medium range nukes

Kha doesnt have AOE. His damage is literally MADE for 1 person. Maybe you should read what his skills do when isolated.

Panth's E is AoE, and so is his Rav.

Panth is not an assassin.

Quinn's Q and ult are AoE.

Quinn is not an assassin

Riven's abilities are AoE, as well as Rav.

From the information i gathered about your post you didnt bother to read anything and you're just making a shit post.

Seems like you have a different definition of "Assassin" and "AoE" than I, so there's no point in this argument. I think they have AoE, you don't, and we're both right by our definitions. Although Zed only loses 45% of his Q damage, not 90% of all his damage.

We're talking about assassins having AOE and you listed fighters and bruisers.

Just proof that you have no idea what you're talking about.
