About CassiopEia

so, what really was the point of the Cassiopeia rework? Before it, she already had the identity of scaling hyper-carry with unrivaled DPS. Post-rework, she seems to have retained those strengths, yet also gained the (unfair) addition of being a giant lane bully. She is supposed to be a sustained DPS mage, yet in lane (i know she is playing vs. squishies typically), she seems to have high BURST damage.

it seems her early game power needs to be knocked down a peg; I think she should have to work harder or at least SAFER to reach her late game. Why is such a strong late-game mage rewarded with massive lane presence. If she lands a poison and you are ever so slightly overextended (relative to the range of her E), you are massively chunked--you will often lose half or more than half of your health pool and have to back. Meanhwile, she barely has to worry about last-hitting due to the mana regen effect on her E. Again, this makes reaching her late game even easier.

Cassiopeia used to be one of my favorite champs. Poking with and landing a Q was very rewarding. Now it's a matter of:

Throw out Q's until one connects. Don't worry about mana because E. Hold on to W if they try to engage or run. Then, just

EEEEE E E E E E Ee Ee e eE E e e EE E e e E E E E E e ee

you hit Q? eE EE E E Ee E EE Ee eEEEEEEEEEEE EEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee

they are running away?! drop down that W and E E E e Ee E E e e eE E E e EE Eeeeeeee

This previously fun and rewarding champion was unnecessarily oversimplified. I never feel outplayed. it's just, oh shit she hit a Q, run the fuck away. If you had anything less than 80% hp, you will probably have to blow flash or die.

Now she seems almost Kat-like in her face-roll simplicity.
