With all these changes to runes/masteries. I hope they realize the loss of base stats.

Every single champion has lost a significant amount of stats with the changes to runes. Especially with the lack of armor or mr that many champions are missing now since they are gone.

While the masteries do bring back the stats but all of them are so backloaded and will take time to fix it. In terms of damage not much has changed as you still get AP AD and attack speed. Also some HP but there is a lack of armor and mr from these changes in the early game. Getting tankier is still possible with the runes and mastery changes but they have only late game payoff. There's only one mastery that makes you significantly tankier early game and it gives you 100 extra HP at the cost of 5% damage to champions for the first 10 minutes.

It seems weird the first thing to compensate for this change is to buff base damages of a single spell to a lot of AD champions. Now it should be fine in theory if everyone lost armor and MR but that only applies in champions vs champions.

When it comes to jungling that loss of armor is going to be a huge deal as most people run armor runes when jungling. Still need to wait for that jungle rework. They are probably going to nerf catch up EXP and make the camps easier from my guess.

They've already said that they're gonna rework base stats because of the rune changes though.
