It is just preseason or is matchmaking hugely out of whack?

Every game is a one-sided stomp. Every damned one. I can count on one hand the number of matches I've seen lately that DON'T have some high ranked player scrub-stomping and carrying his obnoxious friends. They're usually all toxic as hell too.

So I jump to ranked to avoid that mess, and it's just as bad. Oh, less premades in solo queue... but there's still duos left and right and every game still seems to be an utter curb stomp. Did they reset all the high elo players down to me or something? It's completely ruined the game for me. I feel like there's no reason to bother playing if I'm just gonna get thrown into unfair match after unfair match. Why should I even play the stupid game if my team or the enemy is gonna decide it 5 minutes in regardless of what I do and then roll all over their opponents because they're snowballed high elo players or whatever?

Is this shit gonna go away eventually, or do I need to just give up league again?

you are playing in silver 1. Games at that MMR are win lane, win game. If one team gets a lead, they snowball it and the loosing team does not have the discipline or the skill to recover. Its not preseason, it will always be like that in that tier.

Preseason and flex que definitely made it worse, but games are always one sided. There's always one team with literally more than twice as many games played, higher win rates, and higher mmr. This games competitiveness should not be taken seriously

I havent believed in this topic. 1 month passed and I feel exactly the same. I experience like 1/10 games to be fairly balanced. Rest is just free win for one side, carnage for the other.

The cause is probably the MMR reset and we just gonna have to wait for league to sort out the players first. Seems like one month is barely enough, not even one yet. Its true that my placements were actually matched with some diamonds aswell while I was gold.
