Treeline is a overrun with bots!

Someone at riot needs to hop into Treeline and play a few games in solo normals. People are running bot scripts like CRAZY in 3v3's and it's made it impossible to enjoy the game mode. I enjoy playing Treeline casually for fun, and I'm sure other people do as well... but you can't get a fair game when 90% of the time one or both sides will have bots in them. They run smite/clease and always start boots + 2 pots... only leaving base when minions do. They buy nothing but boots and they walk into the enemy over and over again, feeding and dying to tower or to enemy champs. I've played games were EVERYONE on my team but myself were bots. It's EVERYWHERE. It's a huge problem that ruins the enjoyment of the game mode.

I get that it's not rift, but it's bullcrap. Can we install some sort of program that makes you put in a code when you queue or something? I've seen bots in other modes but it's INSANE to see 5 bots in 3 games. This shouldn't be allowed.

I can no longer play one of my favorite game modes now. If I end up in queue with a bot, I have to dodge and then I get hit with the dodge penalties! The last game I queued for BOTH of my teammates were bots. It's freakin absurd that the people who wanna play this game mode are being punished because of a bunch of jerks scripting. Anyone else who enjoys this mode or has had this problem, please... speak up. Riot needs to hear that people give a crap for this issue to be dealt with!

My sister is still new to the game at around level 15 but I started to introduce her to some interesting parts of the game by using Twisted Treeline because of how short and fast the games are, but it was filled with bots. Otherwise I wanna know how this full AP Viktor with Ghost-Smite combo works.

She still likes TT when It's not us + a bot vs 3 bots with something crazy like Nunu with Ghost and Cleanse. But I was hoping to show her more about ganking, roaming, and objective control through TT. Still we both love the games where there are actually no bots and they can be really fun.

I have never seen a bot on Twisted Treeline, kinda weird.

Amongst all the changes they are doing to Twisted Treeline will no doubt fix some issues and bring more attention to it anyways.

Not unless they purge all the botters. No one wants to play a mode that you lose by default half the time because you got stuck with a feeding Quinn bot.

well, bots do need to be fixed, but they're a fast source of IP too

a capcha image could work and is an interesting idea, but imagine how annoying it would be at the same time

Less annoying that having to play the game of "is my team 2 bots" every time you wanna hit up 3v3. If you dodge then YOU get punished with increasingly long requeue times, and the bots just keep on farming and feeding and ruining games. If you suck it up and bear it the game is never fun, it's just a one-sided stomp one way or the other.

We need to let them know we give a crap! Upvote this. Make your own posts about it and support tags. It'll only change if we let them know it NEEDS to change. Otherwise they'll just go on ignoring the problem to focus on E-sports and the newest nerf/buffs to the meta picks of the month.

It isn't just treeline.

Go make a new account and play ARAM. There will be like 5+ bots in every game.

Yep. Want to avoid playing 1v3? Tough, enjoy leaverbuster kicking your butt. With no one actually monitoring the state of the game people are just abusing the hell out of it. And does riot care? They HAVE to know about it. It's every 3v3, ARAM or Dominion match ever. And then they say those modes are "unpopular" and don't support them. No crap they're unpopular when riot doesn't police them to keep this kind of crap out.

Keep the comments and upvotes coming people. They'll listen if we make enough noise. If everyone who sees this sends them a post or floods boards with it, it'll change. BELIEVE!

Agreed......sadly I play TT most of the time. These bots need to go ASAP. Tired of having to wait cus I dodged at champ select. These blighted bots are plaguing league.........

The worst part is how TT might gain popularity due to Hexa going away soon. And the majority of games are either going to be 1v1s, 2v0's or 1v3s, cuz bots aren't real players. If the spike in popularity AT LEAST makes riot notice this change, then good. If not, then...that's really bad and unhealthy for this game.

Given how similar the wave of bots in TT is, they have to be all using the same scripts. Riot should hunt down where they're getting it from and drop some bans or something. They seem to start boots/pots and with smite/cleanse as summoners a lot.

There should be bans for having bots on all modes! It's really annoying when you have a bot going midlane in a co-op game on the rift while making it really hard for you to learn how to mid. I can only imagine how bad it would be to have a team full of bots on TT....

Yeah, i report them all the time, but it has no effect.. as long as Riot is making money they dont really care.. It is absurd!

I appreciate the reply but... this thread is old. Like, massively old. I have no idea how you found it or even if this is still a huge problem since I've mostly stopped playing league these days. It's a crap fiesta in EVERY mode now.

It's almost as if they migrated from Dominion when Riot removed that game mode or something and this will likely be an excuse to remove 3v3's, a gamemode that they admittedly dislike...

Because only Summoner's Rift is allowed t exist.
