Honestly, there should be something, like with /remake and /surrender, where when you are in champ select you can start a vote to stop the champ select without losing lp, it would be a way to stop losing because of what happens in champ select
A vote would also allow a 3 or 4-man pre-made to gang up and bully 1 person though.
While that's not the worst when it comes to something really off-meta like Xin'Zhao ADC, I don't have enough faith in the community to expect them from refraining holding dodge votes to forcing Lucian ADC over a MF ADC on a regular bases.
Also:
LoL itself allows any player to go to any lane with any mastery settup with any rune settup, and you can rank up skills in any order, purchase pretty much any item on any champion and build items in any order.
While something like Xin'Zhao ADC isn't optimal within the meta, giving the community tools to cement the meta really restricts the freedom of everyone at the end of the day.
Even if 9/10 players fallow the meta exactly, it's fairly claustrophobic and constricting if you feel like you're constantly scrapping the edges of what you're allowed to do rather than having some breathing room.
Solution To Dodging Without Losing LP
As an aside: it's also worth noting there's 9 players in each game rather than just you.
If you feel like dodging 1/20 games is acceptable, it's quite likely all other 9 players feel dodging 1/20 games is acceptable: in which case 1/2 games can wind up being dodged.
Which is pretty annoying in ARAM as-is, and the picks/bans time for that is pretty brief.
Picks/Bans in Ranked can take up to 8 minutes: which can mean 10 minutes in picks/bans for everyone between each ranked game if 1/2 games don't make it through picks/bans.
Ultimately: Queue-dodging is much worse than it initially appears. Up to 10 times worse within perfectly randomized conditions, and at least twice as bad as it initially appears due to the opposing team being shafted every time.
