Played him quite a bit and his W is hardly a nerf. It lets you get in position to hook a lot faster.
Anyone who complains about that shit is just mad he isnt a trackstar and cant run away from everything in the game anymore.
Didn't they just buff him back up from an over-nerf, though? So of course he's better now than he was a couple weeks ago.
When the slowdown hit initially though, between the decaying speed boost and the slowdown he hardly managed to cover any ground at all.
Played blitz the other night. Pretty much the same. Nothing really big at all.
The biggest issue I have isn't the mobility: it's the stealth nerf to his attack speed steroid that bothers me. Blitz already has one of the lowest base attack speeds because of his W, and removing 3 seconds from the ability is extremely significant.
This change pushes jungle and top lane blitz out of the realm of viability, and as an avid (troll)crank player, I can testify for that statement firsthand.
This change forces Blitz to be a support and only a support to find success. That's why I dislike this change.
