"An enemy is legendary!" "GG, 0 ganks from jungle"

GiveMeTalonPlz·5/1/2015, 2:03:38 PM·162 votes·8,729 views

This really opened my eyes, what kind of an asshole I have been? I have neglected you far too long.

How could I even pretend I have to gank 2 other lanes and still keep up in levels by farming my jungle?

How could I ignore the fact that you need your hand held like a fucking toddler?

Well I can assure you, no more! No longer will I try to help lanes that have a snowballs chance in hell.

I am coming to your lane right now, and we will feed your ridiculously strong lane opponent together.

You are 100% right, I did it, I killed you 6 times in lane and now I am coming to make up for.

We will feed this game, together.

As a top main, anytime I see a another top lane complain about lack of ganks I am sad. We're not all like that I promise!

"we ride together, we die together. Bad Boys for life"

Love those people. Never plays safe in lane, makes bad calls, bad dives, never places wards and never watches the ones you place for them. And it's all your fault, not theirs for dying. As the jungler you should be able to magically snap your fingers and win everyones lane for them when they do everything they can to lose it.

You get flamed for not ganking because they've fed to the point of no return, you get flamed for being too underfarmed because you spent the entire game running back and forth between lanes in desperate hopes to comply and salvage them.

...Conversely there are the junglers that think just rushing in toward the enemy will make the gank successful despite them and their lane carry being too low to help, despite pinging for them to back away and not gank. Then it's your fault for getting them killed.

When in doubt blame Teemo

TenSlashTen5/1/2015, 3:46:05 PM6 votes

its not his fault alone. If an enemy is that fed its probably because you didn't pressure that lane whatsoever during the course of the entire game.

But not to downplay you.

Theres zero excuses for dieing more than once in a 1v1.

Zero Excuses. You were outplayed. Nothing more to say.

Back on subject, you should be trying to at least hold his lane when he has to recall again or prevent dives so you can at least clean up for him instead of ignoring the lane and letting your tier 2/tier 3 turrets fall for no reason.

Losing an early tier 1 is painful but it is not the end of the game for that player and if you think it is you're probably not suited to jungle given the mindset of "well you fed so fuck you"

do you want to win the game? youre not gonna by letting the enemy ad carry go legendary, while your opposing jungler keeps ganking bot.

if your bot lane is behind, the only ones who can turn the tide are you and your mid lane.

We as junglers must rise up against the oppressive tide of the laners! We must band together and fight against the "GG no ganks" and show them that no longer will we be abused!

ChaoticPinecone5/1/2015, 8:03:20 PM4 votes

i hate when i say "if you come mid, we can kill him" and the jungler responds with something like "youre 0-3". i respond with "riven is <100 health every time i die" and then the jungler says "yeah, right. youre 0-3.". at least pay attention to your laners if youre gonna jungle and see if they have a fighting chance before refusing to gank.

Biff Manly5/1/2015, 7:51:43 PM3 votes

It's always mid though.

Bot lane is full of in-fighting, and I'm pretty sure top-laners enter some weird zen dimension separate from the rest of the game for the first ten minutes.

As an adc main I fully sympathise with this.

Your jungle is not batman and it's not his job to save your ass every time you fuck up.

I like playing top lane. If the enemy laner is just flat out better i try to bait a over extension. Then i will politely ask the jungle if he would like to gank my lane. If he says he cant then i just wait patiently and farm under tower until he has the opportunity to come. If the gank fails i usually let him get some cs in return for comming. Is this a proper way to talk and work with your jungle?

I always like the top laner who is like "I know I died at level 1 to the riven immediately TPed back and turret dove her while still level 1 and she was 3 but come gank for me now" and then proceed to spam ping all day. Um you've fed her 2 kills before I could even finish a single clear and get lvl 3 myself, and now she is gonna be 4-5 by the tiem you are 2-3, unless she decided to go derp and not zone you, mean while I'll be 3-4 having little more than my smite item and you want me to gank that Riven who is sporting a Pick Ax+Dorans and multiple pots with that level disadvantage and you having no summoners...yeah no not gonna happen.

I feel your pain, there should be some sort of therapy group for underappreciated Junglers/Supports who have been abused by greedy/misguided laners. T_T

When I am playing top I tend to see the opposite happen. I will have my enemy laner pushing his wave in and have a massive creep wave behind him, only to have my jungler dive into that wave to try to fight him when I am in no position to follow up (low health/too far back). I would rather have a jungler not come and lose on my own misplays rather than starting the lane off with an enemy laner 1-0 at level 3 from my jungler trying to make a play when I am not able to help.

SociopathFriend5/2/2015, 2:29:31 AM2 votes

One thing laners need to remember, not every jungler is Lee Sin and can gank without difficulty at level 3.

Honestly, I pretty much only jungle as champions that need to be post 6 to be effective. Malphite Amumu Fiddlesticks Warwick Skarner All I ask is that the lanes hold their own, or at least play safely if they're outmatched, until I get my abilities; after that I will more than happily gank whenever my ultimate is up, if the enemy is too extended, or if they're pretty low I'll gladly help you with a turret dive- but if I pick Malphite, I'm obviously not going to do much before 6; same with most of the other champions I listed.

Lord Neptune5/2/2015, 3:56:51 AM2 votes

I think this has been said before but I feel that the junglers job isn't to hand you kills its to earn you enough advantages in lane (like a blown flash or ulti) that your can get the kills yourself.

Llanite5/1/2015, 11:15:34 PM1 votes

This kind of threads pop up once in awhile.

if a laner is behind 1-2 kills, there are only 3 paths to take.

  • we will come back to lane, and die more, because they outperform us (why else should I be behind in the first place).
  • we will farm your jungle camps, which bring more rage.
  • alternatively, we can hug turret, give up 50% gold/xp and, become even more irrelevant, hoping we wont get dived.

As a jungler, you can either give me a lead to cover the skill differences, carry, or just stfu.

PubgamerAU5/1/2015, 2:54:04 PM1 votes

Successful ganks will keep you up in levels just fine. If you're ganking unsuccessfully, too bad. That's your fault. Gank better.
