Possible Changes to do to Nexus Blitz
After playing Nexus Blitz, last time and this time, I have some ideas for Nexus Blitz.
Remove Paranoia Bardle Royal. -This was a problem before, and probably one of the biggest things I saw people say to remove. It's annoying, and can completely ruin a game if one person gets killed just because they were trying to get to their team.
Remove or nerf Force of Nature. -There is no reason this one item can make tanks completely unkillable. I've had games where we were doing okay damage to tanks, and then suddenly we no longer did damage to them because they bought Force of Nature. Something here really needs to be changed.
No 2v1 in Prize Fight -Make it so that the final fight is 1v1, not 2v1, even if someone from the previous fight lived.
Show who's driving the sled. -I love the sled, it's great, but please show who's driving it. It's really weird to see your own sled come sliding into lane with no one on it.
Do NOT allow Kindred to keep marking in URF. -Seriously, we just lost a game because the first event was URF, and the Kindred ended with 7 stacks because she could keep marking throughout the entire thing. That is not okay.
Let people swap with a jungler or remove the 2-lane choice. -This was an issue last time. We're forced to choose 2 things even though there is literally only Lane and Jungle. But some of us don't like doing jungle for multiple reasons. Either because our champs don't work well, or because we're constantly left out of exp because our partner doesn't want to help with a gank and would rather take the camps. Let us swap jungle for lane if there is someone who is willing to.
Less knock-back on sled. -Okay so, I think the knock-back needs to be a little less. At the moment it just seems like too big a knock-back.
Remove some of the bushes. -This new map added WAY too many bushes, especially in the mid lane. If anyone gets Rengar, it's basically a free win more so when events happen that trap you in the mid lane. There's nothing you can do about it because he gets Sword of the Divine. So the mid lane bushes really need to go, even if it's just for the events.
Remove traps placed before/during events. -Traps that are placed before events that force you mid should be removed, and during events they should be removed after the event ends. This is because, traps that are placed before the event can cause a lot of problems during certain events, such as Prize Fight. A Teemo shroom or a Shaco box can completely cost the fight. So removing the ones that are placed before the fight can help keep them more fair. --If not all events, at LEAST Prize Fight. In one game the enemy team basically ended up in a 3v2 because my sapling was still active in the bush.
Say how to get out of Sled when you get the Sled. -So, I didn't know you could get out of the sled... until I got a TIP when loading into a game, to press B to get out of it. So please, make this something that pops up in the game when you get the sled, and not as a tip. Pop it up like the information at the start of ARAM. This makes it easier for people to know they can get out of the sled, rather than assuming everyone's going to get the tip.
Do NOT let Poppy ult you OUT of the circle in royals. -Can't believe this is still an issue, but for gods sake do NOT let her ult throw you out of the damn circle. This was a problem last time, and it's still a problem. When a team can auto-win a fight because Poppy can knock people out of the circle, it's absolutely stupid.
Make the Walking Nexus like the Cart. -By this, I mean if so many people aren't on one of the nexus', neither can be attacked. It's really annoying to be unable to do anything literally because one person can keep you away from them.
Don't Allow Revive Ults During Prize Fight -Having an event that does damage over time the longer goes on should NOT have revive ults such as Zilean ult be able to work. Treat the damage like fountain damage, and have it go through the ult. It's really dumb to watch a Zilean just run around your melee teammate/champ and then just press R before the burn kills him and win the fight by default.
Change the map OR change the pathing. -Something I've noticed, is pathing is garbage on this map. I clicked to go inside a bush, and the pathing tried to take me around the wall the long way to get into the bush. So either the map needs to be thinned down in places, or pathing needs to be changed/fixed.
Have Scuttle during scuttle race go through manmade terrain. -Self explanitory. Is a little dumb that scuttle can go through the actual terrain, but gets screwed because Anivia plops a wall that takes forever to go away.
More will be added, and you guys can offer your own ideas/suggestions. But these are just some of the main things I can think of that really need to be changed.
