How about if someone was afk/dc in the game in the first 5 min, it will be a draw and neither team gets or loses any points

Personally I dont really think that it matters too much in normal's. Ranked however yes. Riot can tell if it is an Afk or just a DC. IF Afk, loss of LP regardless. IF a DC, then I think Riot should invest into a program that is released in the next patch, that while the game is open will collect non-invasive data on what the computer is doing. This way Riot could tell if the computer lost power, internet connection was interrupted, or some other fatal error occurred that prevents the player from playing vs just exiting the game.

   Granted, people could easily switch off the computer and turn it back on. But the loss of LP depending on the cause would be like "27 lp for power failure (same as exiting) 15 lp for connection issue. and 5 lp for a BSOD or other fatal error. This way players who are legitimately having issues wont be punished for something that they had no control over.
