Everything Goes Great... Until Late Game

So I'm playing in unranked, and I ping the target because they're exposed and we can quickly turn a 5 v 5 into a 5 v 4. But the team decides to go after the tank, who's for some reason buried in the teamfight. The exposed champion quickly gets a skillshot off the side because we didn't kill her, and suddenly she's pentakilling our team, because our team decides my ping is worth nothing. Another case: Yi decides he's going to 1 v 5 the enemy team. Unsurprisingly, he gets killed and the teamfight becomes a 4 v 5 killfest.

I've played so many games where we get such a good laning phase, and their team is in no way set up for late game, but it all goes wrong in a teamfight because of stupid teammates.

Sorry, I can't just walk around the full tank trundle to attack the squishy you're pinging. If I try, he's going to kill me. So you either go in by yourself or help me.

The amount of times that people try and chastise others for focusing the tanks when doing anything else would get you killed is mind-boggling... Focus who the closest and safest target is, be it a tank or a squishy. I mean, sure, if a nice opportunity arises you might be able to swap targets and get a nice kill off on an enemy squishy, but under normal circumstances... eh...

People dont understand what teamfighting is, that's the problem. 9/10 people will just be like "group", so then 5 people just run around mid lane doing nothing except fighting over cs. No one engages - if enemy team engages everyone just runs, etc. Imo "we need to group" is never a strat. I'm against it alot unless 5 enemy champs are pushing toward a turret then yea you try to defend it.

The problem I've been seeing is just no initiation. We have tanks hiding behind ADC's and running away when we get engaged on, ending in a stomp that makes us throw hard because the frontline became the back line and the AD and AP Carry got 2 shot by freaking vayne.

Nah dawg, SS+RFC Proc + 1200 Damage crit = GG to any back liner, she doesn't even need the true damage proc >.<

While it is sad that TANKS sometimes don't want to initiate when thats part of the flipping role they have, I have to say it's also fairly annoying when You are the Tank initiate and as soon as the other team starts at you the rest of your team runs and leaves you for dead.
