@RiotRepertoir Can we please get your stance on Sated Devourer

I find it very odd that there has been 0 potential changes on the PBE to this item and from what I know no posts I can find about Riot saying things about it. Many people flat out hate this item an it has gave Shyvana a massive 72% BAN RATE. I would be sad if She got nerfs because of this, as well as a few other champions like and getting banned a lot all from 1 item. I don't understand how the "Warrior meta" and "Smite Ez meta" was so much more exaggerated than this Devourer meta taking over and being a lot less counterable once someone gets that Sated powerspike.

Because the devour meta is countered by snowballing lanes with your jungler it take like at least 20-30 mins to stack this item and if you don't have a lead 5v4 for 20-30 minutes you must be doing something wrong. This is why people complain about nasus even though it is literally a 5v4 for 30 mins.

People act like people never leave the jungle, ganking is not that hard and getting an assist or kill will make a devourer jungle buy the item quicker and stack faster yes you can power farm but its definitely not 4v5 when playing against one unless they are just so incompetent to never leave jungle or help lanes with ganks or get dragon.

Alright let's see what does shv offer to her ganks pre 6 versus someone like lee sin rek sai gragas elise vi evelynn etc. what's a shv going to do run at you like udyr kayle yi where you walk 2 steps and you're at your tower and they just wasted a full minute of doing nothing.

Over extended + Red buff = easy kill for Shyvana. They have to be very gankable but its not like they cant gank just because Vi and Gragas are super good gankers.
