What to do against tanks that outdamage your carries?

I just had a game where the enemy Trundle who had 4k hp just ripped through our team and build up a frontline in itself where our carries couldnt come through while his Tristana could safely shoot our team to pieces. Same with Fiora who goes tank but still deals more damage than a full build Jhin. Do i have to build a certain item against that or why can i only deal 400 damage with a crit while he deals the same with twice the attack speed on me? Because my team just cant get through somethink like that combined with their supporter tank.

Trundle

it hurts my soul when people list bruisers as tanks. Trundle's supposed to do a lot of damage while being durable; he's very easy to peel assuming your team's got any peel for you, and without being a damage threat there wouldn't be much reason to pick him.

Same with Fiora who goes tank but still deals more damage than a full build Jhin.

she builds survivability to live longer, which means that yes, she will do more damage than you if she lives long enough to make use of her base damage. Jhin especially needs to be good at positioning to make use of his 4 autos before reloading, since he can't really afford to build too much durability without losing out on what AD and crit give him.

Good thing is, Fiora is getting nerfed to discourage her from building tank.
