Anyone else wish rune revamp would hurry up cuz of CDR & Scaling CDR rune abuse?

It feels like almost every top/mid lane match up i face these days have 10% CDR instant early rune builds or ones that aim for 10~15% CDR ish rune builds. It makes me almost feel like Ahri only got busted because of such a thing and now Riven feels more ridiculous even when i'm playing Fiora and i feel like i'm in a huge bad match up even if Fiora is suppose to be strong against Riven, but all the 'animation delaying' sort of combos and what not make it impossible to really middle finger her with W and she can easily counter react to Fiora using her passive to bait a Q out of Fiora then just CC dumpster thanks to W and Q 3rd hit.

We had it with Lethality stacking, we still have it with people trading out armor or MR runes to op for scaling health or what not to fair against the majority of 'common picks' in that lane, but Lethality and CDR runes were likely the ones that spiraled the most of control and it makes me wish before they announced the rune/mastery revamp that they could of restricted pages to specific runes and maybe even set a cap on particular runes considering how out of hand all these partial mix rune builds have been getting..

I'm sure a good deal of people agree with me whether they are 'exploiters' of those builds and had plenty of ip to 'acquire things' or people like me who can't spare that much ip for a bunch of pages and runes and end up constantly facing those builds while using 'standard' rune builds that people say will be 'totally fine' but they might as well be a extra handicap against those rune exploiting builds.

if they traded that 10% mr top for straight armor, or mr mid, youd feel it more.

for many mages, cooldown is their most important stat, bar none, and a lot of mage cdr items are somewhat nichey and/or not universally applicable. Most mages want maxed cdr, so being able to get some good cdr out of runes is kind of necessary.

Additionally, don't know if you've looked at any of the spoiled rune designs, but I remember seeing at least one new rune that gives you 10% scaling cdr by level 11 and some ap/ad later in the game, so rune-based cdr probably isn't going anywhere.
