Why did I get a reward?

I just got a summoner icon.

I pick off meta and get report threats almost every game. I get tilted off the planet from "?" ping spams and people's dumbness.

So.. why?

Picking off meta is not (validly) reportable or punishable, no matter how much the garbage QQs about it.

I you're talking about this https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/215686407/Alpha-Icon.jpg it was from participating in the New Client Alpha.

I really wish you could mute people's pings that spam them for no reason like you can for chat. I have left games 5 minutes in for that reason in the past

probably just an notification for receiving a an event icon I.E. the lunar revel or poro king meaning you aren't being rewarded for anything you did aside for meeting qualifications of getting the icons which were play a poro king game and click a button on the lunar revel event page that said you wanted the icon depending on on which you got

I keep getting that bug. It keeps saying a mystery icon but when i check, nothing there
