Make our Grade adjust our MMR win or lose.
Right now it's just wins and losses that adjust it right?
So if you could incorporate the grading system into MMR adjustment that would great because then you could mitigate your loss via shitty teammates.

Yeah I love to get that teammate that doesn't join fights anymore because he thinks the game is lost and is only keeping up his grade by farming to prevent lp loss.
You mean MMR loss?
Yeah, try not being garbo? I dunno how the grading works and neither do you, but I wouldn't join fights if I'm going to die and you shouldn't either.
Grading is based purely on numbers; KDA, CS, objectives etc. You're right that we don't know exactly what is used, but extremely important actions that win the game but don't give you good numbers isn't one of them. What matters is whether you can kill the Nexus or not. A Singed might be able to win the game by making 3 of the enemy chase him around for a whole minute while his team pushes, but his Mastery grade will be shitty for it. High scores are not the objective of the game; only killing the Nexus is.
And "not joining fights because I'm going to die"? Just because you die doesn't mean you weren't useful. Like the Singed scenario, someone might sacrifice their life to give their team an advantage that wins the game, and not doing that could lose the game. There is no statistic to reflect how that choice turned out. The only way to make that determination accurately would be to have a panel of high tier players analyze the match; I'm pretty sure you realize that's not a possibility. Adjusting LP or MMR due to Mastery grades simply can't work.

Yeah, I see what you mean.
