14% win ratio.

I'm not going to name names, but I just played a game with a support who has a 14% win ratio TOTAL not with just a specific champ and he was SILVER 3. How is it even humaly possible to have that low of a win ratio and that high of a rank? It was completely unfair and it was literally not possible to carry him. Can someone explain ranking and how someone that clearly doesn't belong in the rank he is in, gets there?

Because some people have all the luck in the world and get carried 90% of games despite feeding nearly every single one.

maybe he bought a diamond acount on ebay and went all the way down to silver afterwards...

He could have owned his placement games and then started to struggle.

Cuz hes 7/1 on blitz, 1/1 mumu, 1/0 cho. 1/0 nid. He also doesn't have alot of ranked games played. Also, would it help if I told you you guys got paired up because similar MMR and you should probably stop shit talking. LOL.

Wasn't aware Silver was considered "high" of a rank.

The only explanation i can think of is that he used to be gold at one point and when he finished his placement games, that is where he ended up. either that or he is a smurf trying to drop his ranking so he can troll the low level guys

Because winning games earns you lp, not your performance and effort. I heard Dota 2's ranking system is based on your cs per minute, kda, game length, and so many other important factors. Meanwhile, all that matters in League is winning or losing, and mmr. Ranked has had such a shitty system since the day it released 5 years ago. How good a player is, how well they earned their victory, none of it matters in the end. Just winning or losing.....

Placed high, losing spree after that, winning one game at 0LP, losing two more, winning 1 for the reset, and repeat. I essentially went though the same thing at the start of the season, I think I got down to less than 20% win rate. It kinda became a joke at that point, how low can I get my win rate and still hold onto my rank.

Edit: I had no idea people would get so upset over what someone else (not me) had to say about ranked. I only said what I was told and BOOM the downvotes poured in! lol I'm a bronze player so you guys really don't even need to listen to what I have to say. I was just repeating what someone else told me lol!

Original comment.

All silver ranks are considered low ranking actually. It isn't until you get to about gold three that your rank can be considered good. (This is from plat+ players by the way. I'm just repeating what they said.)

have 0 Points, lose a bunch of times, win one, repeat.
