I kinda feel bad, this is my first season and I did my promos and got to silver 5, the promo matches are so much easier and then everything got harder. 30% win rate and I feel bad for making so many people lose. A week ago I got matched with someone who had a 42% win rate and every match they had they were at 0-1 kills and 5-8 deaths but got carried a lot of matches. I dodged because carrying someone is really hard. My idea is to have players pick where they want to start their elo(only bronze-gold) and play normals with that elo to see if they qualify. Then there will be less smurfs in silver too.

Actually, OP is a liar. I found the guy he was talking about and he only has a 14.4% loss ratio with one champ (thresh). Keep in mind, this is 1 win and 6 losses. His total winrate in ranked is 50%. His name is ZuliverPH, and his stats really aren't that bad.

He probably just had a bad game, that's all.

Math, not even once.

Detail: silvers get matched to silvers, so if you belong in silver and are there you have 50% winrate. Like for every division.

Actually, this isn't too far fetched of an explanation.

I fluctuate between 49 and 51% winrate and I'm in silver, so being at 14% and being silver three means he is on the downswing, and having that low means he is tanking because...reasons? It is legit impossible to climb, let alone stay at that rank losing that often. You WILL be demoted, and they had to have been higher and are dropping like a ton of bricks.

Stop repeating b.s. that someone tells you. Plat isn't anything anymore special than bronze. It isn't till about Diamond 3 75lp and up that you are considered actually good. Plat is getting there, but still isn't anything special realistically.

Being in plat means you either have way too much time to grind until you raise in rank, or you are on a smurf and climbing back up. Not trying to bash on plats, because they are higher than me, but being plat doesn't mean you are suddenly so good you can start trash talking people.

I thought I was the only one lol, I had about a 27% winrate. I was stupid and played Ranked immediately after hitting 30 almost. Now I'm doing pretty good though, usually takes me 3 - 4 games to hit around 100 LP in a division and then promo.
