Need a quick explanation on LP please..

Ok, so I was silver 1 and now back to silver 2. Before I won my series the first time I made it to my series 6 times and had a terrible streak of leavers and intentional trolls during everyone of my series games.

Before I make it to my series for the 7th time I'm gaining 24-28 LP per win and only losing 13-16. I win my series get to silver 1. Win 2 off the bat and then lost 2 right after that.When I won I only gained 16 each which I thought was odd considering the amount I was gaining in silver 2 and when I loss it was a huge hit of 20 LP. So annoyed I didn't play ranked for a day. Came back lost 1 at 0 Lp and instantly demoted back to silver 2 on my first 0 LP loss.

So I'm extremely annoyed and now when I win a silver 2 game I only gain 16 and lose 20 every time.

Why did my gains drop and my losses shoot up happen so drastically with so little games between on top of me deranking the first loss I have at 0 LP?...

Your MMR gains are based on your current MMR vs your current division, a player with normal or higher MMR will gain more LP than they lose.
Unless your MMR is higher than your current division you'll always get demoted after one loss at 0LP.

In short, you've tanked your MMR to low Silver levels and you'll need to win more games to fix it.

But how did it tank after 5 games? I have over 100 games played. 2 wins and 3 losses shouldn't drop it that much, if at all.

Have you played enough games to know for a fact that you're gaining negative LP? When your MMR is bouncing around a lot you can find yourself with a really wide LP gain range (i.e.:+15-20/-15-20).

Yeah, every loss I've had since dropping back to silver 2 has cost me 20 and every win has only gained me 16. Every time.

No matter if I'm playing with my gold IV friend or my silver 2. The wins and loss numbers have been static.

Duo queuing has no impact on LP gains.

It just takes the average of both players' MMR and matches them in a slightly higher MMR game to compensate for the advantage. In all cases, the matchups are considered "fair" and will net normal LP gains.

I see, so not much was really explained except that my MMR tanked for some random reason because I cannot accept that 2 wins and 3 losses dropped my gains by 6-10 LP and added 7-4 to my loss LP.
