Does anyone else have the issue where it isn't that difficult to get to your series, but once you get there then there is always that one person who it feels like they throw the game on purpose? Yes, it happens a few times in the main games beforehand, but it ALWAYS happens in my series on almost every tier.
I'm just curious if I'm just insanely unlucky or if other summoners have the same issue because this is getting hella old...
Everyone has the issue. It's just the fact that you're in your promos, that you'll notice every little mistake someone else makes, you'll probably THINK they threw on purpose, when in fact they're just bad. Just focus on your own gameplay.
Yep. When I'm in promos I'm 300% more likely to get a troll, and afker, or have everyone wanting to play the same role and most ppl forced into a role they don't want.
AFAIK everyone is qued by ELO. It's not as if you are more or less likely to be matched with people in a promotional series or not. Since my ELO has me right between two divisions I have been through tons of series lately and there is no noticeable difference. If you simply don't check your league points at all the only message you will get about being in a series is that display box. Just ignore the fact you are in the series and play to win every game. Playing differently because you are in a series or announcing to your team that you are in one doesn't really help.
playing promotions is just a gamble, you have to hope that the other team gets stuck with the ragers, quitters, leavers and not you
