Galio ultimate change
I do realize that Galio's ultimate recently got buffed. However I don't think the damage is the biggest problem with the ultimate.
Galio's ultimate is a huge disable kind like the ultimate of Amumu. The difference is that Amumu's ultimate still lets the opponents use skills (and Amumu himself) while Galio's is a full disable. Galio's ultimate can also be interrupted. I do think that the interrupt counterplay is good. However sometimes it feels like the Galio ultimate gets interrupted by really random things.
**Example: **Galio ultimate's a Xin Zhao to prevent him from escaping (after he has used his 3 talon knockup or it wont work anyways). However even though the Galio ultimate went off Xin Zhao's ultimate knocked Galio away immediately cancelling the Galio ult. Things like this I don' think should happen.
Another example is jumping onto Thresh, using your ulti and getting it cancelled from Thresh's chains or similar. Or jumping on Vayne and getting knockbacked at the same time wasting your ulti.
I don't think these things are counterplays, it is just lucky timing/unwanted design.
Proposal 1: Give Galio immunity to interrupts (kinda like Olaf's ulti) for the first 0.3 seconds of his channel. This will prevent him from being interrupted by things that shouldn't and also leaves the counterplay intact e.g. Malphite can stand back and ult in to cancel Galio as soon as Galio tries to lockdown Malphite's team.
Proposal 2: Another solution could be to give Galio a CD reset on his ulti if it gets interrupted in the first 0.3 seconds and also remove the damage from the ultimate when it gets interrupted that early. Galio could then recast his ulti after the stun/disable wears off that cancelled it in the first place.
Summary: I think his ultimate gets interrupted by random things and could use a small (Buff/QoL) change.
Thoughts?
