Does double edged sword give the % damage for just basic attacks or does that include spells?

Hello every one. I was just wondering if the mastery double edged sword gives the bonus for every thing or just basic attacks? I mean I have tested bot games, but I can't really see any differences in it. I would be great if one of the team members could clear that up.
