I can't agree nor disagree as I'm not level 30 yet and therefore have no influence in Ranked, but to me it just looks like you're wanting a reason to beat down people who are lower than you.
I've seen plenty of threads just today about people talking about being nice and helping out ranks lower then them. What do you even gain by talking trash about lower ranks? It doesn't make you better as a player or a person. It just makes you look like a jerk and I hope I never end up in a game with you, because you seem like the type to be toxic and bully teammates into quitting.
And how can you accuse "kids" who "hide behind level 10s"? I'm brand new to this game. I'm not a kid, and I'm not "hiding" behind my account. Stop generalizing low levels as being some kind of bratty smurf (and that's not to say all smurfs are bad, either. I've met some nice ones).
Just because someone is a lower rank than you, does not mean they are worth less than you. Human beings are human beings, and everyone has every right to make suggestions and talk about things. You cannot just exclude a section of the playerbase from game discussion just because you think you're better than all of them.
Having pride in your rank is one thing. Treating ranks below you like they're not even humans is not okay.
Wanting educated discussion for a game as complex and deep as this is one thing. Publicly outright saying that those of a lower rank basically don't deserve to speak is not okay.
Even if someone is a low rank, they're still human. They're still a player. They're still someone who has every right to want to discuss, learn, and ENJOY the game, whether stuck in elo hell, or just happening to be a low rank.
People like you are why people quit. You make people feel bad about themselves not only as players, but as people by acting like they're not allowed to speak.
Instead of calling other players "trashy" because of their rank, why not be one of the high rank players who actually helps and educates newbies or lesser ranks? Is it THAT difficult to be NICE? This is a community after all...at least it's supposed to be.
Just because someone is lower rank than you doesn't make them any less worthwhile, and just because you're a high rank doesn't mean you're entitled. So many other high ranking players are nice and understanding, so I don't see why it's so difficult for you.
If anything, your manner of speaking makes you sound like some cheap high school bully trying to deflect his/her insecurities onto others who seem like easy targets.
Bottom line: Get over yourself.
