Riot: ETA on that massive jungler rework you promised?

Right before this preseason started riot made a promise. They said they understood the jungle overhaul would make a bunch of junglers OP and others essentially unplayable. This problem was compounded by the changes to base stats.

They also promised us they would tweak the existing junglers "to get it right" and no one would be left behind. This new jungle was supposed to open up more junglers are greater jungle diversity. Farming junglers, sustain junglers, ganky junglers were all supposed to be equal. So, uh, when you gonna start re-balancing all the junglers? Right now it seems like the only top tier junglers are sustainy gankers.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but if you were really going to do this I kind of expected to see a bunch of buffs to all of those junglers who can't be played ATM that way you can keep tweaking them all through pre-season.

Can we please get an update on this?

Basicallly, I think jungle balance changes are happening at a reasonable rate. I don't think there is much of a list of champs you can't play in the jungle to decent effectiveness. AFAIK it's pretty much just Eve and maybe Wukong.

We do still have a problem where tank junglers are inferior to fighter junglers, but that's largely the general "tanks suck" problem and not much to do with the jungle changes.

I don't really understand your terms here. What makes a "farming jungler" different from a "sustain jungler"? As for balance between farming and ganking, it's hard to really know with League of Warwick wrecking the balance testing environment, but it looks to me like junglers who gank at 3 and junglers who farm to 6 are both viable strategic options in a way that they weren't before.

Can you clarify your complaint here?

Hey, I'm still waiting on that top lane rework they said they were working on back on like patch 4.11, when they gave a small buff to J4 and Malphite. Also still waiting on the bruiser rework.

Pretty much, don't hold your breath.

You know, the rework that was more than just "nerf the popular runes". That rune rework.

Expect your favorite junglers to stay trash.
