Anyone notice reds comment on everything but the actual game

Been looking at the red tracker for a few weeks now. It's always skins, fan art, the store, player poems, etc etc. Like maybe 1/30 post seem to be about the game itself.

Hire a PR person riot.

Edit: Apparently my post wasn't very clear. Riot makes buckets of money. Why don't they hire a top notch PR person to walk around the riot offices and just sorta hang out and get a feel for everything that's going on. They could post teasers, answer relevant questions, give us snippits, explain what changes are in store, what's being worked on currently, send press releases to sites like s@20.

How nice would it have been if someone posted 2 weeks ago "okay we've identified WW is a problem" then every few days give us riots current thoughts on how they will address the situation. Maybe even take our feed back to the designer.

90% of the game discussion is just complaining. They probably get tired of it.

Reds used to post on the forums regarding gameplay balance and design, back during the GD era. That died out though, for good reason-the community is awful and lashed at them with nothing but hyperbole and personal agendas. The amount of actual constructive and open dialogue concerning the game itself was always skewed by masses of idiots, so Riot decided to minimally post about the game itself as time went on.

It is because those Reds are employees who work on stuff that doesn't directly relate to the game (Artists, Community people, QA).

The employees directly modifying the game do not wander the forums that much.

It's those categories that people have some free time and can interact with the community. Player support, bug fixes, etc are things that just need to be looked at, not responded to. Most posts don't even need to be responded to but they do anyway.

This is not uncommon for any game. Players that use the forums are a small percentage of the player base and most of the posts regarding gameplay are just complaints or negative in nature. Responding to those is a lose lose position for the devs. Saying we are working on it or we will look into it will just piss of more people when something is no changed or changed fast enough. If they were to detail plans or changes they are working on, a majority of people will still bitch that it isn't the right change, too much, too little, etc.
