To CertainlyT, on Mordekaiser

First, let me start by saying I like the direction you want to take with Mordekaiser. You want to make a viable marksman alternative, and personally I would love to see that myself. I can easily imagine that it was one of the things you had in mind while creating Yasuo.

However, a major problem that comes up from the current activity on Mordekaiser's kit is complete and utter dependency on other players to function as intended.

By making him reliant on a second champion (and therefore other players, which are notoriously unreliable) to use an important basic ability, it makes him near-fully incapable of surviving alone. Most ADCs can live just fine in a solo lane. Ezreal, Varus, Quinn and Urgot are doing that perfectly well, and it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to see Lucian or Graves mid, too, right?

This problem of "Player 2 Required" cropped up a bit with Kalista, as well. 40% of her kit won't work unless another player cooperates, and part of that cooperation is forced and jarring to experience. For Kalista, even if the mechanics aren't perfect, this is her theme, and it works. She claims one's soul from their still-living body in the name of vengeance, and they work together to exact it.

As for Mordekaiser, he's a lone harbinger of unending pain and suffering. While a teammate would be useful to him on his quest, he shouldn't need a partner in torture when he already makes one out of the enemy team.

CertainlyT, I like the creative direction in which you want to take different champions. However the execution on Mordekaiser's kit leaves things to be desired.

My request may or may not be simple, but I hope you'll at least look into every possibility.

So I ask, if you're looking into making him a more viable duo laner, please make it so giving Mordekaiser a support in lieu of an ADC is beneficial for him, but not necessary, so the people who don't want a numero dos don't need one.

Agreed they didn't need to kill his solo lane potential. He has creative ideas but Riot needs to learn when to move a different direction.
