On the recurring issue of Summon: Tibbers.

Since the Q&A with Annie Bot had just come up, it seems like a good time to bring this idea to Riot's attention.

Everyone knows just how insanely powerful Tibbers is.

  • It's a nuke.

  • It can turn around an entire game no matter how far behind you are since it works with her on-demand stun.

  • And most importantly, it's an instant cast, making it virtually unavoidable. The only hope you have is that she doesn't have Flash up, but there are still plenty of ways for her to reach you, especially if she has Righteous Glory and Talisman of Ascension, which are normal for an Annie support. God forbid she has a Sivir, too.

But I'm not about to cry "rito pls nerf!". I love that Annie is the premier Bearmancer, and the fact that Tibbers has as low as a 3-second downtime is pretty fun to me. I want more of that—more Tibbers. A more useful Tibbers that I don't have to save forever because it's the only teamfighting tool I have. A more fun stuffed animal to throw around and play with more freely instead of only being able to take him out of my backpack when someone else needs him.

When Riot brings up issues of champions not having counterplay, Annie should easily be near or at the top of the list, solely because of her ult-stun combo.

So, I have a proposal to change how Tibbers works to give people a chance to play against her combo, but potentially increase the damage Annie deals to single targets and in enclosed areas.

Instead of being an instantaneous AoE stun-nuke one-champ wombo combo, have Tibbers extend the range of Disintegrate and Incinerate. If the target of her Q is out of Annie's range, but within Tibbers', the spell will be cast from Tibbers, and vice versa.

If an unfortunate soul is caught between the two and hit by both, Disintegrate and Incinerate deal 180-200% damage. If the ratios are lowered to make up for that, maybe to 50% AP scaling on her Q and W down from 80 and 85% (meaning the increased damage would surpass her current scaling), this would still encourage Annie to get in a danger zone for maximum damage output, which is one of her current few weaknesses. However, the base damage staying the same would allow her to still farm as efficiently with her spells in the early game as she currently does. (And she's extremely efficient about it.)

She can even be a safer ranged threat, even if that means the AoE and immediate damage is smaller by comparison. She could RW and still stun 2-3 people instead of being forced to Flash-R for an engage.

Overall, this kind of change would give her ult the counterplay it needs without Veigar-ing her, and make Tibbers a significantly more versatile and core part of Annie's kit.

Nice idea to raise her skill floor. Personally I just want them to give Tibbers a travel time. Have Annie throw the bear at a location while the teddy transforms into the monster we all love and hate. That way there is a reasonable telegraph for such a devastating ability. Also Tibbers could interact with Yasuo wall and Braum shield the same way Orianna ball does, stops but not destroys.

Her stun isn't on demand. On demand means push of a button. She has a requirement of 4 spells to bring up her stun, that is not on demand. Veigar's stun is on demand. Malzahar's suppression is on demand.

Furthermore, why do we need to complicate champions? Annie hasn't required anything but minor changes to her passive, the idea that we need to complicate everything in the name of "counterplay", which is stupid btw, is nonsensical in itself. Counterplay for annie. Respect her range. Check how much she has stacked her passive. Get a zhonya/mercutial/cleanse item to prevent and mitigate the damage from her summon tibbers.

This topic has been discussed before. Buy a Banshee's Veil it's alot easier then bawling your eyes out. Stop playing League if you can't handle one of the game's oldest and simpliest champs. Git gud or stop q'in
