Why does lethality still exist?

Seriously? Why? It's literally all I ever see anyone build on most AD champions (Especially on URF) and it's stupid, you can't even counter it unless you do as much or more damage than whoever you're up against (have fun doing that v Jayce). I'd also like to point out that all 3 items have a "Unique" passive of lethalty and don't stack with themselves, but Last Whisper items don't stack with Rageblade, even though they're Unique and two different items. Please explain that Riot.

Lethality is actually weaker than flat armor penetration. It scales from a low value in the early game up to the Lethality value.

The passives for Last Whisper items don't stack with Guinsoo's because the unique effects have the same name - Last Whisper. Unique effects with the same name don't stack even if the items have different names.

There's two classes of unique passives, the plain Unique ones that only prevent you from getting it if you buy multiples of the same item, and the Unique Named ones that are even more restrictive. This is to prevent people from stacking a powerful effect (e.g., flat penetration, CDR) to keep the devs from needing to balance a powerful bonus around people buying lots of that bonus.

Lethality is fine. It is a fun concept that is not, in and of itself, broken. It is the fact that they are so damage hungry that makes this feel overpowered.

The only 2 adc's i see building it areJhin MissFortune . The kthers are designed to burst you down or just cant use crits. Also unique passives dont stack with the same item. Tgats means that you cant get lethality from 2item 3142 for example. The lethalitybpassive fromitem 3142 item 3147 will stack with eachother. Also remember armor penetration. That was worse. Lethality replaces it in the assasin update. You git the full value back then and now they have to scale. [zombie-brand-facepalm] [slayer-jinx-unamused]
