Explain the Akali change

Can someone explain the Akali change to me. I have no idea what they mean by the blink and leaving twilight aground in the same spot you were in

Akali now puts down the middle of the shroud on top of her current location and then blinks to wherever your cursor is on the shroud.

Ah thanks. That's actually a some what decent buff. Maybe I can finally play her again and not be completely useless XD

I'm not really sure about it. Not being able to control where to put the shroud (because you can only place it on top of yourself) makes it feel much clunkier and the duration of the shroud starts at 4 seconds now and goes up to 8 seconds at max rank. Considering you max it last that's a pretty big nerf. I don't think the blink effect is worth it in my opinion. I'd rather keep it like it currently is.

Where did you find that out? I've only seen it posted on SurrenderAt20 and it doesn't have anything involving cd

But you can also no longer be reviled by pinks or sweepers cause of the stealth change next season. Plus it gives you a way over walls without your ult or flash

the added bonus of having a blink is that you can time it to avoid damage... you'd need a LOT of practice though plus remember that she isn't revealed by wards anymore and red trinket only allows you to see her but not target her.

Well since pink wards no longer reveal her you are going to be able to avoid a ton of damage anyway. I'd much rather be able to place the shroud wherever I want to and not have the blink instead of always having to put it on top of myself and get a small blink. After doing a lot of testing on PBE it just doesn't feel very fun or natural to use.
