Support Players: Will we make Flex Pick thrive?

Aptest··1 votes·466 views

With the new season coming up, we happy few supporters have a choice. Whether to queue to matches full of premades, or rally behind the solos. As queue times depend mostly on us, our decision will seal the fate of "Flex", one way or another: and by inference, they style of play and the balancing of the game in days to come.

Therefore, a question for you fellow supporters: which queue will be better, for us, and why?

You make a very good point TC.

Quite frankly, soloQ. In my humble opinion, being a support in a premade sandwich is the most cancerous thing in the world, because unless the ADC is also solo, 9/10 you will get blamed and shit on by the butt-buddy club for all the ADC's mistakes and I frankly can't deal with that BS. What's worse is in premades, the adc is less likely to communicate or play in sync with you. It's horrible.

My issue with premades has rarely been the enemy team but my own. Being the filling is disgusting.

And as a general rule, i think you will find that unless the support player is in a premade themselves, they will probably go to SoloQ as well, assuming it has duos as well like the old system still. Because at least they can pair with their ADC friend.

Quite honestly, DQ doing that was dimply a mistake. I understand this is a team game and the agenda Riot was trying to push, and agree with it, but ultimately, DQ didn't even really adress that issue with ranked, it must mutated it into something else.

If League is meant to be played as a team that way, then it should BE the 5v5 both teams are premade with communication set up, not forcing people to fill in their groups of preset assholes.

I will play solo q for to climb gold and then flex queue. Actually, I find that it's easier to sup when there's a premade on your team as long as you adapt to what they're doing.
