CDR really should change the rate at which abilities recharge

You'll likely try to say what's the big difference. Well, here's what it is. Someone with an Essence Reaver supported by a Zeke's gains a bunch of crit, and thus also a bunch of CDR while it's active. So guess what, if you use your ult while it's active, it gets a significantly lower cooldown. I kinda feel like this is almost cheating or something and I don't really see any good reason why it should be that way. Can anyone enlighten me as to how this is a good thing?

I don't see how that is a bad thing. First of all, if someone builds Essence Reaver and doesn't max the crit passive on it anyway (which can be done with like 1 more item), then they have just wasted the potential of the reaver. If, to compensate, their support buys an item to give them crit chance and help out with their CDR, then congratulations, the SUPPORT just bought a SUPPORT ITEM that wound up SUPPORTING their carry. I don't understand why this has a negative effect on the game.

DID YOU KNOW: If you have blue buff active then you get 10% CDR? This means that if you use your ult while it's active, it gets a significantly lower cooldown. Is this cheating as well?

I would rather wait 10 more seconds for my ultimate to come up than cheat my way into lowering it. Uncool.

you do know that the most you will ever get is 20% extra CDR from essence reaver right? you do know that almost any crit item you get after it will get you the extra 20% CDR right?
