Hey, I'm a Diamond supp/mid player and I just want to share my experience since it seems to overall have little representation on the boards, but I know many people share.

  • I like runes reforged and it's never been more fun for me to theorycraft and try different runes on champions. I'm a fan of how, even there might be more popular choices than others, there are many viable options now for most champions.

  • I've been playing for several years, both normals and ranked, and don't find the games a lot shorter than before. I like playing for late game and have had many satisfying long games recently. Not saying a bit more would be better, but the board claims are unfair for the most part.

  • I think the main issue of snowball comes from people believing in it too much. I've had many comebacks and not surprisingly all of these happened when the losing team didn't flame or give up. I had two ranked games in a row where we came back from losing 5 to 20 kills. I believe the current mentality of "snowball of doom", people giving up early or ragequit from a few kills ahead, is a main reason of games being shorter creating a vicious cycle.

  • I'm fine with the levelling system and the pace at which we get new champions. I like hextech chests and appreciate the free cosmetic content. I've never had less orange essence that I needed for the skins I wanted.

  • I absolutely LOVE the new "meta", which seems to be the closest to a "non-meta" state: one much more varied, where there are less mandatory options, and people don't flame others from playing more unconventional choices.

  • I think finding new ways to reduce toxicity and somehow make the players be more mature in game would contribute to the game fun a lot more than fixing mostly overrated balance issues.

  • I'm not a fan of removing items and always think that worst case it's possible and better nerfing its numbers to the point that it's bought as frequently as Ohmwrecker than not have the option at all. Options give color and to the game, even unpopular ones.

Optional: some constructive but -probably- not so unpopular feedback that I'll include anyway in case it helps

  • Rod of Ages needs 10% CDR. Not 20, but at least 10. Without supp item, and even with trascendence, mages that need to build AP+Health have it difficult to get a decent amount of CDR.

  • Morello is almost always a mandatory option for damage even without the enemies having healing, and I don't see it ideal. Perhaps you can something like GLP-Ludens-Seraph non stackeable CDR but with Magic Pen. Though there might be better options.

  • Hextech GLP needs a bit of love. Not too much, but reducing both the AP ratio, health, and missiles pierce was a bit much. Throw a bit of HP on it, or tweak up some numbers and should be much better.

  • When in game, there's always an extra tab called "Consumables" at the end of every custom item set with just a control ward. Even if I already have my consumables tab before ._.

  • Please, please fix the secondary runes interface for once so we change whichever rune we click and not the other.

Thank you,

I honestly wish the majority of people with posts like this copy and paste your formatting for it. Clean.

I agree with most of this.

Agree with this

They were testing +20 ap on rod of ages (given through scaling only) but never went through

I think it's dumb that the magic pen item only builds into the anti healing item. Like what the hell...

Thanks for the comment, I also agree items should have more branching options than just 1.

Rod of Ages needs 10% CDR.

Hell no. Mages already get so much cdr. They don't need more.

This bothers me as well. Riot fix this.

(I'm glad someone else other than me actually use item sets)

Mages get decent CDR when they get Ludens, Archangel or GLP. But those are already mana items, RoA is supposed to be a mana item that you normally wouldn't get with those. Not just because mana overkill, but because they don't give HP which is what RoA users want. If I want to get Rylais, RoA, and Morello, that's still 0% CDR.

Edit: Thanks for the input though. But I really think RoA is way too niche now.

Well i have to say i can live with most changes but ther is this one thing that seems to happen every time

Sion is good sion get's his foot cut off and left limping and rotting for another 2 years or so

maybe they could stop doing that

that would be really nice

Ah I don't play Sion much. I usually like when my main gets nerfed because it means I will likely get to play them every game, and won't be banned or picked. Is it that bad?

Thanks for the comment by the way

Well the current scenario is very similar to what happened with season 5 cinderhulk

And about 2 years before that, surprise surprise E spam

They just gut him and ignore him for 2 years :S

It's meme worthy really
