Report System Hurts Community.

In a game where 90% of players are just plain rude and immature people, there should not be a reporting system implemented into the game(ya 90% is exaggerated, but so are a majority of the numbers that Riot throws around as well). All the reporting system does is make more and more "toxic" players, which makes this community the sad excuse it is. Don't get me wrong, I love LoL and I know there are a few decent people who play the game, but you should never give power to people who don't know how to use it properly or aren't even mature enough to use it. All this does is create a terrible community that thrives on punishing its fellow players for everything and anything. The only thing I have ever seen the report system accomplish is, giving trolls a reason and way to treat people like crap and get away with it. Oh, you went 0/3 in lane? Well we are going to flame you for the rest of the game, then mass report you at the end. Will we get punished for our actions? Nope, but you will get punished for being the victim of harassment. This is how almost every losing game of LoL goes in solo que, and it happens at just about every lvl of play.

I know someone is gonna say... well just report them, it will get them punished. Well, that is wrong. In a community where the majority are the trolls, you don't stand a chance of clearing out the trolls by reporting them. For every one troll you report there will be 4 more next game to mass report you for not agreeing with them in game. So, you end up with a community where, only the victims get punished and the actual "toxic" players get away with everything they want. My point is, this system never has and never will work.

We need a new system for dealing with these behaviors. Maybe we could try some type of reward system? That way, you aren't hurting the victims, and the "toxic" players have some kind of reason to not be so "toxic". Everyone wins in a system like this, and you will see less "toxic" players overall. Even if it doesn't lower the amount, it won't raise it, and it will definitely stop innocent people from being victimized. Lets work together to help the community people. I know we can do this.

Well Riot did mention wanting to add a reward system when the tribunal goes back up, but specific details weren't given.

As for the rest of what you've said, all I can do is post evidence to the contrary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8PJp_pLfb0 : skip to 14 minutes if the details aren't important to you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnAeGGmpy8A : ^ 5:45

And since I don't seem to have access to my tribunal history, you'll have to take my word when I say that I've reviewed over 20 cases (I know it's not a lot), and managed to have the tribunal agree on 100% of my case evaluations that included both guilty and innocent rulings.

Reporting has become a business in League. Great we get toxic player.... boohoo it's time riot implements something that works. You think riot cares about anything we say? The CEO has 27 million players playing everyday why would he care? You think people like toxic people I don't, but I can easily be toxic to one because muting a person doesn't solve a problem it just stores it. Being toxic is a choice just like being happy is a choice. Well it's funny how the tribunal is always under construction/ maintenance I guess riot really doesn't care. Again why should they ... they have 27 million people playing daily. I guess League of Legends is like the Roman Empire it was great for so long it fell to nothing. I'm waiting for that time unless riot is willing to actually grow up/ man up to actually putting a real tribunal in affect. I have never been banned from League I can't say about being reported, but either way it all just sucks. I guess we have to wait and see if riot actually cares about its community.
