last game i played as zed i mean what the hell we had a troll akali that spammed the whole map with pings everytime he get unmuted from pings . and comes to me in mid and spamming emotes Can you seriously do something about this ?
Heckin Support7 votesYou can mute emotes by muting the player, and I'm not sure if that also mutes pings (I'm assuming not) but you can lower ping volume in settings.
They should add mute pings with the mute player though.

It does not. Probably because if you mute pings AND chat, they are completely unable to communicate with you.

It may be a bug right now but when the enemy support/adc is spamming their emotes and I mute them or even when an ally is spamming pings cause of flame and I mute them I still get the sounds from both. Its really annoying
Weasel Kensei4 votesProblem is that the pings theyre spaming have two effects. One, its annoying to have to listen to. Two, people stop looking at the minimap to see whos pinging what because they just assume that its more ping spam. So the purpose of pings as communication goes away, cause ping spam results in people ignoring pings over all.
So yeah, we need to be able to mute peoples pings with a:
/ignoreping Akali
as an example, this way we can ignore their toxic diatribe nonsense with mutes without blocking their pings, and we can stop people who think, "well if I can ping once, I may aswell ping five times" as two separate things.

Im not against hearing pings, Im against hearing constant pings with the only purpose of annoying me and others.
