Honest post : How i use flame and what i do against bad players + how others beat the report system
I never report good players that flame. Why would I ?
As longs as they help me achieve my goal which is winning the game they can spam the chat with insults, I don't get bothered by that.
In the meanwhile I usually report people for flaming when they play bad.
I feel like i'm helpless against those who ruin my game by playing bad and also don't want to listen to me when i tell them to do something.
Like at least if you're bad , listen to players that play better than you and you may eventually win the game .
So what I basically do is, I criticize them, then they'll flame back, so i got a reason to report them now.
Simple .
I don't do that to players who listen. I somehow like those players the most, they have a modesty and an aura about them. They recognize that they don't play too well and they wanna help with the little they can do. My heart just melts when i see players willing to communicate with me and help me with strategies and tactics even if they had a bad laning phase or they are not so skilled.
I feel like they're my little kids.
Now you'd say it's a little unfair and harsh, what i do to the other category.
Well , many players do bad things and get away with it. Because Riot simply doesn't give a sh*t about it.
So I can use this system to favor me also . I'm not dumb, i know how to get away and how to fool the system.
You play bad and are hard-headed ? I'll just type wp after you fail, you'll get mad, flame me, then you'll get reported and punished for basically playing bad but the report function will still be the " Flaming or offensive language " .
I basically use the report system to suit my needs. And don't worry , i can over-dramatize in that little type box i have under the report function .
You flamed me all game long but i eventually carried your ass to victory ? Don't be fooled, you'll still be reported. The fact that i carried you serves as a bonus to prove all what you said to be wrong .
And now to talk about how other players fool the system and don't get punished
The biggest hole in this system is the line between someone playing bad and intentionally trolling.
When a player irrationally gets mad at someone during a game, they may start doing those little intentional things.
Like last hitting your jungle mob when you did 99% of the damage, like going for a dumb build (because he doesn't care about the game anymore) , or dying for no good reasons. But he won't get punished by the system due to lack of proof.
And the biggest one i ever saw, is playing careless in late game. The player may be 12/0/18 , i don't care, he might still get mad at someone and just intentionally let himself get caught by the enemy team.
Now he has everything to defend him from reports, he has his score, so you can't report him for intentionally feeding with a 12/1/18 score, he has the " It was my only mistake and i didn't do it intentionally " wall that he can hide behind and he can also just say that he got outplayed.
Well he did this intentionally, he basically single handedly lost the game but you have no proof that he did that .
Another way to avoid the system is just to refuse helping the players who got you mad.
I've seen so many people do that, they get mad because " i stole their kill " or "that i didn't give them a buff" and they just refuse to help me.
If i fight 1 pixel away from them they will keep farming, and not do anything in my favor.
In this situation he will also get away with it, even if i report , there is no proof of what he did.
In the end
I consider that Riot cares too much about what people say in the chat box instead of how they play and what they do in the game.
And as long as they do that, i will still profit from it the best I can.
