Could we get a software engineer at riot to check some game code?

Can someone at riot make sure the programming on armor is actually correct? It says I should take 50% reduced damage with 100 armor, but they still hit for 1k damage a hit... Maybe it isn't just damage creep, but its also a glitched code for damage reduction.

Also, the reason I say 100 armor, is cause after armor pen and lethality, that's how much I have left.

Not to state the obvious here, but Riot coding isn't known for being bug free, there could be some issue with armor pen making armor not reduce damage properly. Remember the talon glitch where the numbers were showing that he was doing tons of damage, but he actually wasn't. Then they fixed it and had to nerf him? It could be something like that.

i remember but i hated riot for that

because at that time i played talon and didn't feel like having a bug reducing my damage so when they said "we're nerfing Q ad ratio cause there was a bug" i took it like "we nerfed his Q and to hide that we wanted to nerf talon we said we fixed a bug"

Yea, maybe we should get the Sejuani mains in here. Remember that time that they nerfed her, then the keystone, and then didn't rebuff her.

Or the Xerath new skin that made his r travel faster, so his old skins were unplayable, and then they just buffed him anyways.

Yea, good times, with good ole rito programming and balancing.

Now I see they are testing 15 minute surrenders.... yea cause lets not fix our game, lets just make it so you can get to a new one faster. They may as well make it 7 minute surrender tbh, most of my games are 2/7 by then anyways.

Depending on who it was and what their build was , a lot of people can hit you for 1k

what he is saying is that after his armor reduction is applied he still gets a hit for over 1k. Unless it is late game with a full crit adc on a "50%" damage reduction they would have initatly hit for over 2k. which of course is fine at the end of the game. I do get that he is saying it feels like it isnt being reduced properly at times i have felt the same way. granted i didnt write the code so i dont know exactly how it is supposed to work but building resistances feels bad atm to me

Provide a clip of the bug, try to find the variables required to reproduce it. This would be the first step of a developer and it's something you can do too.

I'm not saying I found a bug, I'm saying could someone check if the formula is correct, which is actually something really easy to check.

so easy that you can do it by reproducing the situation you thought was in error and providing the observed numbers.

that is the way they would check to see if the formula is correct.
