Could leona be a jungler if she could proc her own passive on jungle monsters?
Don't get me wrong, I think she is a fine support, but I think she would also make a really cool jungler if she was changed a little. What do you board members think?

She needs to be a top laner like she was originally supposed to be. She was shoehorned into the support role where she now suffers eternally as there are far better champs that do her job better or make her kit useless.
Leona would be a solid top laner in the current unkillable tank meta.
But for jungle you're literally restricted to getting leashed blue then 24/7 ganking until smite is up.
Anyone can be a jungler if you try hard enough.
Test her clear speed and see if a small increase would make her a good jungler. Jungle viability is like 50% decided by raw math. If you can clear fast that makes you pretty good by itself. She would also have pretty good ganks considering her engage and CC so she'd probably be really good if it increased her clear speed enough.
Yes she could, and she would probably be nerfed a lot as a consequence. She has much easier and more guaranteed ganks than even the strongest meta gankers currently. If she was allowed to clear decently, she wouldn't be allowed to keep that level of ganks.
Ah.. Leona does well as JGL right now for what she does.

Triggering her own passive wont change that since she'd still lack the DMG to effectively clear the large camps.
just try it, ive did it a lot and its by far my favorite way to play her, build her like similar to someone lie garen like one dmg item then full tank her clear speed is actually really fast if you abuse your q auto reset and her w aoe with decent dmg
can do decent enough, depending on your jungle and leona experience.
She's a fine jungler already. This is where I had more fun playing her. The last buff on her Q (flat 6s lvl 1 rather than scaling down from 11s lvl 1 to 5 i believe) put her in a good place. The passive proc would be cherry on the cake. I'd glady welcome it.
No there is a reason why champions like Tresh, Leona, and Alistar should never become viable junglers.
@thread What if leonas passive could be procced by her after 3 seconds and did an armor/MR/AP scaling nova? She could benefit from talisman if it were AoE. And healthy junglers tend to revolve around talisman...
