Why do Nunu & Willump feel so fair to play against?

Compared to every other S tier jungler right now, like Rek'sai, Jarvan IV, Kha'zix etc. I find it much easier and more fair to play against and as Nunu & Willump. While his objective control is strong, and his ganks can be good, it's not like you can't contest objectives, because he's heavily reliant on support during contesting objectives or else he runs the risk of being killed too easily. I get that he's sticky and can make great ganks, but vision can make a huge difference, and as long as the enemy isn't pushing your people under their tower, it's actually not too easy to land a snowball. Is there anything I'm missing that's a bigger factor?

No burst, no mobility, no damage-abusing like Ezreal, just pure tankiness & crowd-control. Just like what an actual Tank champion should do.

Everything he does is avoidable and counterplayable. It's really that simple. No "jump on you out of invis and burst you to death before you can react".

Mainly comes down to mobility and cast time. Champions tend to get unhealthy when their mobility gets too high or their cast time gets too low and Nunu doesn’t have either of that. Nunu exemplifies what a healthy modernization of a kit should look like (outside of the invisible bug which never seems to go away).

He has no dash and can't flash onto you while pushing his snowball. Unlike every other champion, what you see is what you get and he doesn't have obnoxious burst. I think hes really well designed.

because he's so fucking unreliable that probably any monkey could dodge his w and escape his r

Nunu feels fair to play against because his kit offers more agency to his opponent. If Nunu is coming in for a gank with his W, then for it to be potent he needs to have started his W much further back to gain the speed, damage, and larger hitbox width. Plus, Nunu can never W>Flash to cheese you like Rammus can Q>Flash. If you do get knocked up, you still have some time during his E or R to fight back, escape, or in the case of R - disable him from channelling if you have the CC. Compare that to say, Riven. If she lands her third Q or W, be prepared to eat the rest of her combo while you're CC'd.
