What is going on?

This game just cannot be played any more unless you are just immune to pain/frustration dude.

I walk into the lane, within seconds... "an ally has been slain..." "an ally has been slain..."

For whatever reason, in nearly every ranked game, my allies move like they have no idea what they are doing at all. The enemy just Picks Picks Picks Picks until its GG.

...

It is no longer even fun anymore, it's just become a chore. 30-40 minutes of "OH MY GOD Allies STOP DOING THIS! STOP! STOOOOPPPPPPPP!!!!"

I think some governments should consider making the people they interrogate play LOL Ranked 24/7 as a form of torture.

Unless you're some Faker, Neace, Elite500 super team fight super god who's muscle-memory-memorized every minion positioning/trick/rhythm etc this game has basically become unapproachable.

After a whole day of work, this is just NOT the game to play anymore... unless you'e somewhat of a masochist.

I've Uninstalled.

Am I the only one? I just get so PIssed Off playing this game. And if I lose a single Ranked game, I literally can't play the next game at all. I don't have the Mental for it anymore so maybe it's all on me.

But I don't know how anyone deals with it...

If you are getting so upset over a game then maybe it is time to take a breather. It is just a game, and not every player you are with will have the same skillset as you.

People quit League. Even Neace quit League remember? He's back now but he did quit. There's no problem with putting down and going for a walk from a game, especially one that's frustrating and competitive. If you quit and go to play some other games, that's fine. If you quit, take break, and come back that's fine as well

What's going on is matchmaking isn't working correctly with the new season MMR resets. The baseline average MMR in the rank decrease formula has been dropped from what used to be 1550 (Gold V) to about what is the equivalent of Silver IV now.

In other words, it congested a lot of ranks together that weren't congested together before.

Silver is now full of Platinums, Bronze full of Golds, and they are struggling to climb up and out and level out the positions they previously held.

As a result, every game is literally a "respect me or lose" game for the people playing against the high elos. Instead of safely assuming equal skill level, people are getting trashed because that's just not true.

It's not int feeding. It's asymmetric skill.

You ain't the only one, sad thing is, riot just doesn't give a fuck anymore, and they just keep feigning ignorance to the multitude of issues the game has, both in game and in client, while trying to squeeze out whatever cash they can.

I don't understand how ignorant you need to be to keep a game that constantly drives one to madness and MAYBE have 1 person even remotely having fun each game without taking in the MULTITUDES OF FEEDBACK on whats actually wrong, or be transparent and get off their ass and change it themselves. IMO we've gone from "own personal bubble" territory to "huffing their own farts" in terms of the gameplay and balance team's thought processes.

The worst however, is how they keep doing the whole "you think you know better, but you don't" thing to us without actually having the balls to talk to people about said changes or why, and seeing their past track record on these balance changes, (MUH 200+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE) that could be the one thing that could save them, even for a fleeting moment. Look recently, they basically removed being able to type in the patch notes, and now theres a rumor they are gonna just kill the boards.

Its fucking sad man, glad you got out while you could, i'm still stuck in the painful loop.

I'm trash at the game, i dont know many matchups or characters. I struggle to know when i can attack or when i should stay safe. Stuff like that. But i watch minimap all the time ward and try to play for objectives. I also play on safer side, as not chasing too far if we dont have vision. If i get killed, i try not feeding over and over and over even if it means a bit less gold and xp.

My teammates dont do any of that except on my lucky days. Is grouping "running into an ambush over and over with 0 vision 1+1+1+1+1 v 5?" or am i missing something. Should i kamikaze too if my team think we should all die for the glory of securing a wolf camp when we could take a dragon/tower/push waves? Or we get a baron and instantly they go 10% health into fight. I don't feel baron makes me invincible but sure helps take tower when i escort the canon minion. Not to say im better than anyone else, but i dont understand how this game plays anymore. I thought the only kill that mattered is the nexus. So now i play ranked for fun and dont care much as soon as my team shows signs of playing for kda only.

Whatever people say know that they are only seeing a small part of the actual issue; Riot rigs the elo system to profit off your addiction through a forced 50% winrate, or rather a set of wins and losses that keep you just pissed off enough to rage and maybe be banned so they can profit off you rebuying your account, or let you win and hit your dopamine receptors with the flashy lights, all while keeping maximum exposure to their online store.

So called "Pros" and "Streamers"? Bought and paid for to give you hope. You think Riot doesn't see a cut of those profits from ProGuides and other sites?

Elo boosters? If Riot were at all concerned with those sites they would have their legal team all over them like Blizzard does with private servers of their games. Riot profits off your misery.

The house always wins.

Most people don't see it, but their brain does. Any rage or denial you see at this fact is simply the addiction talking. "Just keep playing, you'll win eventually!" says the gambler, while the casino counts his money. "You mechanics just need work! Keep practicing!" says the zealot of Pro Guides etc while he himself remains hard stuck despite taking the Iron to Plat course 5 times.
