How the hell does Ahri put her skirt on?????

Ok, just look at 's splash art and tell me...

how the hell is it logistically possible for her to put on her short skirt?

The lore says that she transforms from fox to human from time to time. Now I assume that when you turn into a human, you don't magically wear all these clothes.

Now if you try to stretch a white short skirt over THAT MUCH foxtail the thing's going to snap (resulting in no skirt). If you buy a skirt and then cut a large hole in the back... there's still no way to put it on.

Now someone tell me (not that one way necessarily makes it possible)... does the fox tail come out from UNDER the skirt or from a hole cut on the back of the skirt?????

So HOW THE HELL DOES SHE DO IT?

I think the lore needs to account for this stuff.

O.o 2 things to consider

1.- her tails have no bone, they are mostly fluff so they occupy very little space

2.- Tails dont come out of the ass... they come from the ~~Coccyx~~ lower lumbar vertabrae bone which is barely covered by pants or in this case a skirt, if a humanoid figure were to have a tail, they could very well wear a skirt and have a tail protrude from above the seam without much trouble and considering that Ahri's tails have no bone this is a lot easier

Edit: corrected both the spelling on coccyx and the fact that it wasn't the bone I was talking about lol, I always thought that was the name of it but I was wrong :P

uh, the fluff doesn't go through the skirt though, it starts above the seam and flows on top and outside of the fabric, if anything the hard part would be wearing a shirt but the again... the amount of fluff is surprisingly low, it's apparently nowhere near how a pillow would be, take a look at Ahri's emotes, when she rolls on the ground, her tails nearly dissappear into just one tail, it's pretty deceptive I'd say

You're focusing too much on the first thing. The second point is more important. The skirt doesn't even go over her tails, man. It's like that weird pic BLACK REALM GOD is using. Holo is the name of the character in the anime called "Spice and Wolf" shown in the gifs that people are linking. It is about the ancient goddess of fertility, Holo the wise wolf traveling around the medieval world with a merchant making trade deals from town to town. It is actually a very good show if you are interested in intellectual shows because it keeps you thinking the entire time.

Assuming you are male the problem is that male leg anatomy just doesn't exactly look good in short skirts (even without all that hair) - and I have yet to find a longer one (like, one that covers half of your lower leg f.ex.) that pleases me aesthetically, as in the last 100 years not a single fashion company has tried something like that.

The only thing that's wrong is that I'm fucking envious that you apparently found a skirt that looks good on you (or else you wouldn#t have bought it). Either that, or you are a girl. Or it's your sister's.

I am here for one thing, and one thing only:

The coccyx is at the bottom of your vertebral column, attached directly to the sacrum by an amphiarthrodial joint (and can become fused to the sacrum itself later in your life), and generally lies relatively close to your anus and serves as an attachment site for some muscles, tendons and ligaments in the region. As a result of its placement, if you have something protruding specifically from the coccyx without any change in its location and it's not covered by your pants, you're either an inner-city gangster or your pants are too low. If something was to protrude from the coccyx, it would likely go under or through the skirt, and, by necessity, would probably call for a wraparound skirt instead of one that would be pulled up, to prevent frustration and be faster with tails as large and fluffy as Ahri's. Though you could easily just pull something up to that tail joint without a problem, you're not going to be able to get above it very easily (important for a coccyx tail), which may or may not be important depending upon the exact location of origin for the tail(s) - and various media do depict tails, even in humanoids, coming from slightly different locations, meaning to properly cover it you'd need to either just drape something over, like a robe, or pull up to it and hope it's considered decent in polite society. Using Black Realm God's picture as a guide, that's not the coccyx you're seeing: that's coming off the lumbar vertebrae.

thanks for the clarification! in spanish and while growing up I always called it that Coccyx but since I'm no doctor and I study anatomy only for drawing purposes I never realized I was in the wrong :P you are absolutely right though! the lumbar vertebrae! I'll keep it in mind!

That's completely alright :) We're all wrong sometimes, and I'm sure if I tried speaking in Spanish I'd confuse a lot of smaller nuances like that as well and would hope to be corrected by someone with a better working knowledge of the language and subject matter myself :D We gotta learn somehow, right?

Actually as far as the human skeleton is concerned #2 is false.

The sacrum the bone that connects the spine with the pelvis is above the coccyx (tailbone) which a tail would be formed out.

Best-case scenario you'd have to wear pants, skirts and whatnot lower than normally, if not outright switch to low-rise pants and open back underwear.

Not exactly as pretty as you think.

yes, another guy pointed this out as well :P I've always called the lower lumbar vertebrae, coccyx! but I was wrong about calling it that way

Another guy also posted an image of a woman laying down showing where a tail would protrude from, all in all it's above the seam of pants or skirts or in her case, underwear! thanks you though!

Personally I think it'd be great if it looked like that, but for that to happen the pelvis would have to become disconnected from the spine (since the tail comes out from above the sacrum).

That or the pelvis changing shape akin to dog's (or even longer). I can only imagine all health problems, including childbirth.

hahaha indeed! but I think it's ok to realize that in the end, we evolved because all of these ideas aren't exactly the most healthy ones :P fantasy is a nice outlet but you can only stray away so much from reality without finding a wall of reason to go through!
