@Riot: Can you shed some context on the early Remake option?
I'm for one happy that you guys are acknowledging how depressing games can get when someone cannot return into a game or if a game stays 4v5 because of toxicity, or because someone just simply could not rejoin for the life of their computer or ISP (Insert Comcast Sucks quote here :P). It's something I like because it helps address the numbers issue when it comes to League and how quickly games can go from awesome to 'why do I even bother' in seconds.
My only curiosity I have with the upcoming mention of early Remake is what it would do exactly. Is it suppose to be a function where it will just cause the game to end? Does it then treat everyone as though they have a loss forgiven or mercied? Also, is there a time limit in mind when you can use this functionality? I question more of the usability of this function, because while games can often get out of control on the numbers-dominating side, often games can still be won regardless depending on how well the 4 man team plays vs a 5 man team, which makes me wonder if the tool would be used as a cop-out should the sudden turn of events lead a team of 4 to a loss.
Also, since you guys are looking towards having an AFK not be so stressful, is there any chance you guys are also looking at the toxicity of League again? That is, are you looking at therefore giving harsher punishments for how innately toxic games get nowadays? I ask this because while the function of remaking will be a good function overall to remedify imbalance, unless certain limits are going to be given to prevent abuse of it, I can see that the tool will be used as, again, a cop-out to avoid a loss. More exactly of a question, although kind of obvious: Are you giving harsher penalties to those who try to force others to AFK/ruin others' games?
Thank you if you're able to answer!
