CertainlyT. His abominations have to be special.

Because the designer felt following a TP for free was a smart idea... just like Tower immunity more or less.

Because, more realistically than the responses here, it pushes her back, so if it was range limited like Lee’s, anything with mobility will completely fuck the recast.

Seeing that it’s the only way to actually stick on a target besides her ultimate, it seems fair.

On the plus side, she moves so slow and predicatably you can hit her with a Xerath stun and get the full duration of it.

Because it's CertainlyT champion. It needs something out of the norm even if it means the champion is heavily unbalanced.

But it's hard to aim, has a cast time and does very little damage.

The hell are you bitching about? It's also highly telegraphed, giving you time to plan how to beat her. Why are people complaining about one of the only CertainlyT champs that aren't complete ass to play against? The fuck?

Because she flings herself backwards on cast, they don't want to force her to ult to get back in range, and a finite range would have to be long enough that it's meaningless in order for this spell to work, so they didn't bother.

She has plenty of counter play stop with these

Out of 10-20 comments i read, maybe only 1 comment answers OP's question. Not to brag, the boards wouldn't be so helpless if they actually learned to be constructive.

The reasons i could think on top of my head are that infinite range can act as a double edged sword. If someone goes too far from akali and she recasts it, only to go 1v3 then there's an issue.

The other reason i could think off is that since the ability has a small hitbox and does less damage, it would not be rewarding if there was any recast range.

The last reason i read here was that, just like lee sin, it might be removed when akali becomes dominant enough in both high and low elo.

Other than that, she does travel relatively slow towards you for you to cc her or act upon it.

it's a skillshot, you got hit with it, how can you complain if you get hit with the effect that the ability does. Dodge the skillshot and that wont happen.

I like it to be like that , because I main Ahri ,if she hits E , i can just dash backward to the tower and charm her under tower and let her take some dmg then she loses 90% hp then she presses W then she 1 shots me and ran away , wait wtf did I say I like it? nvm

Why does it need a range limit? Even if it had one, it would be much longer range than Lee Sin's Q because the first cast dashes away from the target.
