Is it just me or is she a REALLY good midlane assassin?

Yup! make sure you're using that ult to roam too! it's brutal if used right, no one has time to react. especially bot lane with that Q->R(reactivation)->E combo to drop someone and regain distance.

So far my match ups: Ahri: Can be a little difficult but a well timed vault will save your hide Swain: Can be difficult due to his sustain and root, however, same as ahri, a well timed vault can save you. Zed: Pretty easy, even though he has good burst and poke, you can to better, if he decides to ult you immediately E off of him then Q Azir: Easy, enough said. Akali: you can reveal her and burst her easy. Katarina: Vault disrupts her ult.

What is your level progression? I usually R > Q > W > E but leveling E provides a lower CD on the ability meaning more burst potential so i'm not sure.

So, fun tip with swain, save your E for his root. if you use it about .5 sec into the root, you'll be off of the spot (on top of him) when it goes off. makes it impossible for him to hit it.

Level progress depends on who i'm facing. If they're sustain: R>Q>W>E If they're poke-ey: R>W>Q>E If they're an all-in type: R>E>Q>W/

The pokey one might seem odd, but the secondary effect of W cannot be underestimated. besides letting you trade better in lane, it really powers up your assassinate potential as valor. By leveling W first, you give valor a massive stat boost that doesn't require items to out-duel almost anyone. Leveling W first, and surprising someone at lvl 6 is always super fun.
