The thing is, is that smurfing SHOULD happen. Having a smurf account helps to de-stress from the game on an account that isn't your main, you can practice uncomfortable things in ranked, you can play with your lower elo friends, and it brings more money for riot in general.
For the people complaining that it creates an uneven playing field and it makes for a really unfun experience, I'd say you really aren't trying to improve then. Think of a smurf playing in your game as a test to your skill as a player. And if you end up feeding to him? So what! Download that match, watch the replay, see what you can gather from it and LEARN! That's the way these smurfs rose to the top and came to understand the game. If you only have bad players playing against bad players all the time and mindlessly bashing their faces into the keyboard to MAYBE come out on top, do you really think that any of those players are going to be seriously improving? Pressure creates Diamonds.
And before I get a ton of messages, let me clarify some things. Yes, I understand that it can be frustrating to play against a smurf when you don't have as much game knowledge as them, and getting blown out of the water is super unfun if you don't understand why it is that you're losing or w/e. Regardless of if they are on your team or not, It's only for a small percent of your games that you actually encounter a smurf. As diamond players, we are like the top 1% of all players in north america, and In the world, It should be an even smaller percentage. We've all been at that level before, and we know how it feels. You gotta rise above the normies.
tl;dr
smurfing is good, it is okay for the game, and you should take as much as you can from these games win or lose because they should statistically not happen as often, and don't bash on smurfs just because u bad, everyone started somewhere :P
