If I'm playing a mana based mage I run out of mana so easily. Until I go back and get a Lost Chapter and then I never ever run out of mana.

learn to conserve your mana better then. learn to last hit better and only use abilities to get cs you would otherwise miss, to control the wave, or to harass/trade.
