#Make the +2 gold generation work when the user's near an ally. Only the 3rd upgrade is unaffected.
Isn't this a simpler change to avoid having a Gangplank abusing it at mid/top lane & other similar situations?

Baron Barian1 votesWould still be useful once the laning phase is over, which is probably when some idiot would decide to buy it anyway. But if someone besides the support are buying and upgrading these items, then there's probably already more things about them that should concern you.
