I caught a jinx late game as darius

My Q+W+Auto was healing her because she had a bloodthirster, getting 5 stacks was nearly impossible before dying. If im hitting the tank then shes melting me from afar.

I know its not my job to kill adcs as a juggernaut/bruiser whatever you call it

but i thought if a squishy champ is in melee range of you you're supposed to decimate them ( ha get it ? )

We had infernal and idk man. That just fuckin sucks. IMO i think darius isnt that good

because in that same game i was fighting trundle. I was 6-3 vs a 2-3 trundle. I landed every Q heal and W'd to kite perfectly yet all he had to do was ult to take me to 1% before he died.

Maybe darius isnt as ''OMGFREELO BRO'' as people say. I have 120 games on him and im starting to not like him anymore because i see his weaknesses in higher elo.

I wish they didnt nerf Shen so i can just go back to him <.<

For one, she had like 2,500 gold worth of items on you. Had she not even had the last whisper I think you would have won. In a 1v1 situation, her strength is being able to throw down traps and kite you. But if you are any bit ahead and building some armor, she won't be able to go near you.

Darius is less of a duelist late game, more of a big teamfight presence. If he is allowed to stack up and get a reset he can pop off even if not doing particularly well. His weakness is being kited, but in a brawly kind of teamfight he will easily crush people. I don't know if you were going up against more of a poke/kite/peel sort of team so...

And Jinx is a terrible ban for whoever suggested that. She's at best low elo S tier. There are many easy ways to shut her down including strong gankers, divers, etc. And the game really revolves around the jungler. That's why you see so many nid bans, zac bans, etc. bot laners really have little say in whether they get fed or not, but Junglers do.

Well you picked the pinnacle of win lane, lose game champs. You're attempting to compare a late gme hypercary to a strong ealry game bruiser. Darius' scaling is dog shit. The game also isnt in your match history so you could just be making anything up at that point. Also in your build you have literally 0 MR so I'm guessing Jinx wasn't the only one shredding you

You're posing on the accont that doesnt have the game on it so most people (myself included) already assume you're hiding something. And "catching someone" doesn't necessarily mean you were by yourself, so you should have clarified. Especially since you went on to say something about hitting the tank. Also, you're complaining about Trundle's ult, but again you have 0 MR built. Anyway, Darius is still probably the epitome of win lane, lose game with trashcan tier scaling and you're comparing him to a late game hyper carry at practically full builds

Well it all makes way more sense now. Jinx was massively ahead of you. Like by a shit ton. I mean she is even higher level than you even though you're a solo laner. Jinx's build is like 15k while yours is about 12. Add to the fact that yet again, Darius has horrendous scaling while Jinx has a fantastic late game

This is a myth, or rather this is outdated information.

Darius is not as strong early game as he once was, and his late game is now much better as well.

The champion you are describing is Pantheon.

umm aren't juggernauts supposed to destroy squishies in melee range?

even tho the exact same thing happened few months ago. i caught a jinx. she didn't even kite me. the bt was enough to sustain all my damage. she kileld me. i ulted her for like 1200 true damage. she died due to bleed after but i died first its quite bullshit i mean juggernauts should destroy adcs in melee range

unless the difference in gold and levels is really large.

duelling power in melee is all that juggernauts have. if you neutralize that stregth and allow an adc to be as strong in melee as at range, then the class is pointless.

i actually main adc too. Caitlyn to be exact, I think there are a few adcs suspect of doing this but not all of them

Darius is a huge team fight threat that if he gets resets, it becomes impossible to team fight against him. Even in high elo teams just try to disengage if Darius gets Noxian Might. He also has okay utility and peeling, and is stronger early than Jinx is. He has way more going for him than dueling in melee. That is all Garen has going for him, and he's not even good at that unless he's fighting the Villain, but that's because, as I've said many times, Garen is terribly-designed.

So what ADCs other than Vayne man fight you my son?

Armor pen, plus her high damage output is stupid strong against tanks. Jinx herself is a late game monster. I was talking to my adc, jinx is just like jhin without the 4 shot limit. you have to rely on your bot lane to stomp her or just 100% focus her in team fights

I'm just assuming since you didn't even list the proper combo that you don't know how to play Darius right. (Hint, Q-Auto-W Auto. W resets your AA and that is key to maxing stacks ASAP buddy.)

It is....Q-Auto-E-W Auto if they are going to outrun you. If you needed E to get her in melee in the first place you were screwed from start.

If they are going to outrun you then there is absolutely no reason to auto unless you're trying to proc phage, in that case if she throws traps you will need your E to pull her back and in some situations slowing down someone by 90% is better than gaining a small amount of movement speed.....

You don't understand Darius. It's not about Phage or move speed. You want to burst her down because Jinx will whittle your HP away. So you need MAX passive stacks. That's the point. You clearly don't know how to combo Darius right, probably running bad runes and mastery at that. Factor in as others have said, you were hiding the game at first, then it was revealed you were behind in gold and levels, there should be no shock at all you were killed. I'll admit I'm not a very good player, but I understand the combos, match-ups, and strategies that clearly you don't.

First, congrats dummy, VLog is a Video Log...which does not match your claims. You tried to tell this story on a different account than what it was played on and tried to say, "oh no, not that part" and still not at all what you claimed. Coming to boards crying about being deleted by an ADC with a level and gold lead on you while not even knowing the proper combos for the champ in play IS bitching. (Congrats BTW for being Silver3 and schooled by a Bronze on combos and balance) I'd you had lead with play rates and win rates then MAYBE you'd have a leg to stand on.

or if you have phage passive you can get away with

Q + Auto + W + Auto + E + Auto (only if you know how to cancel auto animations and prompt a movement command though) and that's 5 stacks right there

It's a situational thing, and W'ing immediately after works as well but I'm just kinda used to players flashing immediately afterwards. Plus, catching people out without using your E immediately is kinda rare so it usually isn't at my disposal for anything but a forced engage

But ya, if she uses her traps instead of flashing when she's right next to you, go ahead and do that

if you want to carry. darius sucks. late game. hes one of the better early game and mid game carries if he snowballs as he can literally 1v5 if he plays it right. but he sucks late game.

juggernauts are carries just as much as marksmen are, and whos the better carry should be decided by if the jinx (or any marksman) manages to kite you and kill you from a distance, or if you manage to outsmart her and get on top of her to kill her with superior duelling power in melee.

a marksman being able to straight up stat check a juggernaut in melee range, is whats wrong with this game right now.

it should honestly never happen, unless the marksmans gold lead is extreme.
