Are Braum jump and Lee jump the same?

I was wondering if Braum should be able to jump to a ward. The only reason I wonder this is because Lee jumps to ally for his shield. I've looked at a few descriptions and get some information different. That being Braum jumps to champion and minion, other description saying ally. Lee is able to jump to ally specific by all descriptions. Is it that Braum is selective to only the characters?
