The little love tap to Leona hasn't done anything

She's still sporting a 55% winrate and a 16% pickrate - numbers one and two for each stat, respectively.

I'd rather play against the buffed Yasuo on the PBE than Leo with Aftershock. It perfectly synergizes with her kit and her ability to basically permastun anyone in melee range is completely unfair and unfun to play against. Back when her Q got buffed to have only have like a 2 second downtime with CDR was when she was legitimately bad and struggling in the enchanter meta. Now its League of PTA ADCs with an Aftershock support and she's still completely unbearable. She's been in practically every game of mine where she isn't banned.

She needs more nerfs, since the little cut to her W bonuses clearly haven't put her back in line. I'm frankly quite sick of playing against her.

The thing is Leona already can snowball at level 2, she doesn't get W until level 3, and it's her W that got nerfed.

Hmmmmmm we wonder why nothing got accomplished!

But she's a melee tank support, there's NO WAY she can be broken :))))))))))

I'm glad someone said this. Her W was never the problem.

Her problem was the E+Q combo with aftershock + sunlight procs + followup damage being nearly impossible to play against at level 2.

If she brings ignite? Pfffffffff..... basically a free kill. Guaranteed.

Its pretty free with exhaust too, but with ignite its basically a promise.

With the enchanter item nerfs coming, she will get worse. SMH. GJ riot, its just like last year, balance is a joke with SEVERAL 55% winrate champs and they'll be that way for month. Not saying the balance team shouldn't get the holidays off, but if they do shit like this every damn year, they sure as hell don't deserve it. Fix Ez, Fix Leona, Revert Morg, Yas buffs can fuck right the hell off, and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX TWITCH! Whats it been 6 months now? GEEZUS CHRIST YOU GUYS ARE BAD.

Have your support counter pick her then. I remember alistar being a huge pain in the ass when I tried playing aggresive leo last time. Lulu was good to stop engages. Nami can just bubble since you know where she will end up. So can Soraka for that matter. Leo is strong in kill centric lane and play styles. So don't play her game and it will work out much better for you.

Morgana is also good VERY vs her if u can play it safe until lvl 3

Yup a black shield turns off all her magic damage making her burn a ton of mana early. Plus morg is in a really good spot right now. even something as simple as positioning and the ghost poro rune can prevent almost all of her bush jump attacks that get a lot of people.

Ali doesn't bother me. Leo's damage is annoying but combined with her faceroll playstyle, 4 second lockdown and huge tankiness at level 3 on top of that damage that's the issue.

ali actually does mroe or less the same amount of damage and can heal. he can dive turrets with ult and such and cc with e and such. morg can literally cc you for 10 sec straight

Both of them can be blown up without their ult. Leo can solo the mid laner once you reach mid game or later.

I find it strange that I haven't seen a single Leona in a long time, considering her stats lol. Would imagine I'd come upon at least ONE in the past week or two... haven't seen a single ban for her either

People cry over things they don't understand the. Aftershock has a CD and with that play around it. They must not have played against a AP leo with thunderlords decree lol. Weak early but you out damage most midlaners due to your ult having a low CD and ult eq w and you dead homie

Next patch she gets indirectly buffed by her competition getting nerfed. Got to be honest, I have no idea what Riot's balance team has been smoking this preseason.

Look at the support list of OP.GG.

It is DOMINATED by tank supports; that is half the reason that Leona is in the no. 1 spot. Tank supports aren't getting 2-shot in this meta. The ONLY support in the top 10 that isn't a tank is Janna, who, as the peel queen, can disengage these tanks.

The other half is- Leona is an ultra-early kills support, in a 'meta'where snowballing is paramount. The fact that a gank down bot will give my jungler and adc like 4 eyeballs each and 2 stacks of whatever else they're running, ontop of the gold, increases the impact of her early game success way more than her kit was balanced around.

I don't want to see her nerfed because her winrate is a symptom of a more widespread disease, and I desperately want that disease to be tackled. I mean, nerf her, fine, she won't be permabanned and I can play her when I want. But Riot's got a bad habit of hotfixing champs, fixing issues, and then forgetting they exist.

Clearly heal/shield items are a problem right now though.

A nerf to her base HP5 and the range of her Ult would make her a lot less frustrating to play against. Her innate sustain is one of the main reasons why she is so good at face-checking people early on.

Easy. Pick fiddle as support.

Leona dives your ADC. (50% chance she will solo them)

Fiddle walks to other teams ADC and solo's him/her

Then turn to Leona and

SUPPORTAL COMBAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of the time because I will outscale Leona and keep there adc from getting CS and get 1st tower.

This depends on the feeding of other lanes of course. Plus with dark harvest you can poke the leona and once she dive you can about kill her if you can bounce crows and drain. Then add a big melee attack in.

This is just 2v2 and not taking jungle and other things in account.
