Well both of the Rioters did at least say there were problems with Dynamic Queue. But they didn't offer a convincing argument as to how its superior to solo queue and the changes they were talking about sounded pretty bad too.

Yeah best one imo, it wasn't round in any sense I think they never read the tales Of King Arthur the whole concept of a round table is everyone is equal.. "we can't say" or "get some friends than" it reminded me of AA's message to Agnostics "hey there we heard you were a solo player, the good news is you won't be for long!!!"

LOL the video itself is a chore to sit through, basically just Lobster and Socrates being all defensive towards Scarra with gbay chiming in like once every 10 minutes and Pwyff not really saying much.

It really felt like Gbay never talked the whole time. Scarra was great, he was bringing up good points and actually grilling them, Gbay just looked confused.

Yeah he talked like maybe 2-3 times, and each time was to give a monologue disproving whatever Lobster last said. Scarra was the best part of the whole half hour thing!

Watched it. Your description sums it up pretty perfectly.

I think Socrates should have rehearsed beforehand; he seems to suffer from the classic problem of someone who understands how something works but has no idea how to explain it to someone outside of his workplace.

I also think Pwyff's role was as a moderator which I think should have been stated outright instead of necessarily calling it a "roundtable" discussion (otherwise, YES, they should have gone to IKEA and bought a ROUND TABLE, DANGIT)

Lobster contributed nothing that Socrates didn't already say other than maybe sounding a bit more apologetic

Gbay.........was basically a parrot on Scarra's shoulder

Scarra was the only one who made this not feel like a waste of time. I have no opinion on this whole thing as an extremely casual player but, from an argumentative standpoint, he presented the anti-DQ argument well and succinctly. In comparison, Socrates (and Lobster?)'s pro-Solo queue argument just sounded like "Dynamic queue isn't going well because we tried to do a thing. We're still trying to do that thing. Riot's scattered structure and the size of the game means we have no idea how exactly we're going to do that thing but...uhhhh....bear with us"
