the damage is reduced by the armor, of course, but it isn't reflected by the 30% reflect

Good question.

I hope it doesn't, because while lifesteal helps reduce the damage from thornmail (damage outscaling defense, just like AD to armor and AP to magic resist), this will up the damage from thornmail on beefy HP tanks a tad too much.

Considering people are already wary of the tank meta, I don't think we need to make them stronger. They're in, and I'm happy for it, but I don't want nerfs up the butt thanks to one item.
